Extremely helpful book
I set out on a course to work as an executive coach and found the Three key factor methodology to be an incredible useful model rightfully emphasizing the need to start out with the required business result to get the buy-in and way to filter any possible intervention against the criteria whether it would significantly impact the required business result. But then working on the team interactions proves to useful: contrasting the actual misgivings of the leader about team behavior and letting him discover what he really wants to see step by step let’s him too discover what he should change in his personal style. The book is jam-packed with useful advice and contains references to more material. Will definitely come back to study the book for a second time.

Good Read
I am not a professional executive coach. Rather, I am an executive who enjoys and understands the importance of coaching. On the whole, I found this book to be very helpful. You have to read it with the mindset of an executive if that's who you are. It's not that difficult to transform the concepts. The examples were very well done. The templates and suggested structures were very good. My only criticism, is that I found it a bit repetitive. Also, some of the formatting doesn't translate perfectly to a Kindle edition.

Practical and Pertinent Content in Context
Insightful and helpful business coaching content. The application of the content to “Coaching in a business” is still relevant today. Practical examples and checklists used were good.

Prof Louis van der Merwe uses coaching as leadership development
This text is both practical and systemic in its approach. It has sound foundations and theory underpinning it. Mary Beth O'Neill has integrated the learning from the groundbreaking Leadership Institute of Seattle (LIOS) Masters Degree neatly into this coaching approach. More valuable resources available from the LIOS faculty.

The core of the coaching process
This is a coaching resource I keep at my fingertips! I appreciate the author's stand for head AND heart at the core of the coaching process, how to call them forth for my clients and manage them for myself.
