Great bike accessory for your phone
This product fit perfectly on my mountain bike and really hugged my iPhone 5s for the long bike rides that I like to take. Easy to install, and a 360º swivel head makes it perfect for a portrait or landscape view. I love the added security of the strap that you can insert into the headphone jack which gives you extra protection so that your phone wouldn't drop even if it could get out of the vice grips of the actual holder. Comes with a rubber sleeve too so that you won't have to worry about scratching the paint on your bike. Well worth the money if you want to have access to your iPhone while you're riding your bike. Remember to shut off the power saver if you want to have constant access to whatever map app that you are using on your ride. I've been really happy with my recent purchases from Amazon.ca!!

Excellent product for bikers
Updated Review, May 2015 (6 months later):After 6 months of almost daily use with my phone on my bike, one of the arms that grips the phone cracked a little from normal, albeit high volume, use. I ride at least 4 nights a week with large social cycling groups for 2 - 4 hours at a time, frequently over poor quality roads / paths, and then another 3 - 10 times per week solo. It still holds the phone, but it's not safe to continue using. I emailed Koomus on a Saturday afternoon, and on Monday morning they shipped me a replacement and provided me a tracking number by email. First rate customer service! Also, I've seen a couple of reviews here about phones going flying after a bump, and I'm not discounting their experience, but I'm really curious about how they attached the mount and phone, because I can tell you from my daily use that it is extremely difficult (almost impossible) for my Nexus 5 to go flying no matter how hard the bump. Also, did they use the headphone pin? Multiple other people, myself included, have experienced the pin being very tight (good) in the headphone jack, and there is no reason why a phone would go flying after one bump if properly attached. I've hit potholes and bumps that are massive (night riding through rough areas), I've gone over speed bumps at high speeds, I've ridden on old, long cobble stone roads that make you feel like your inside a blender, and I've done all these things at speeds ranging from the slow/casual 10-15 mph up to 30+mph.So, again, not discounting their experience, just curious why when I properly attached my mount (using the 2 additional inserts if the handlebar is too thin), properly space the arms to grip tightly but not overly tight, use the headphone jack pin, and finally position the swivel at the needed angle, I have had my Nexus 5 come out of the holder less than 3 times (and each time due to me not tightening the grip enough, and each time the headphone pin kept the phone dangling with the bike and off the ground) when I'm a very aggressive heavy use rider.Original Review ,November 2014: This cradle exceeded my expectations. It holds my cell phone very securely, and the additional pin to further secure the phone via the headphone jack really holds the phone well. I've had no issues with the swivel feature, angles of placement on the bike, grip, etc. I ride aggressively and use my phone occasionally for GPS, but mostly for music with bluetooth speakers while riding, and this mount has been perfect for these activities. Additionally, because of the placement of the phone, I can now accept incoming video calls (via Hangouts or other apps) while riding so that I can keep my eyes on the road and talk to them, but a caller can see me while riding, nice little perk even though rarely used.

Very good and secure phone holder
Good product. Holds my iPhone 6 quite securely. I was a bit nervous at first, but after riding almost 500 km with no incidents, I'm confident that my phone will stay put. The only downside is that my handlebars are tapered so sometimes it rotates downwards over time since it can't grip as tightly as it would on a uniform diameter bar. Not a big deal, but every couple of rides I have to adjust it's positioning. Would be perfect with some type of clamping mechanism to tighten it onto the handlebar.

Great for small to medium sized phones, perhaps not so much for phablets
For the price, this seems like a good product. My phone is a Galaxy Note 4 however, in a UAG protective case, and the Koomus mount is just barely large enough to hold onto it.The ratcheting mechanism to adjust the size of the clamp is a bit difficult to move, and when I initially started trying to re-size it, I thought I'd broken it when one side came completely out. Nevertheless, I got it adjusted and fit to my handlebars, where it stayed securely for the duration of my first twenty-mile ride on pavement and gravel. Despite that, I would have liked to see a more defined lip to the product, something that hooked around the forward edges of my phone to hold it and reduce the chance that it would fly from the mount after a hard impact. I deducted one star from my rating for this reason, as I will need to find some way to modify the product so that my phone is held more securely by the clamp. The rubber mount that holds the clamp to your handlebars is made of a stiff rubber collar, which is stretched around your bars or neck. It comes with a size collar for smaller handlebars, as well as a rubbery anti-slip bit that you can put between the clamp and your bars if you choose. Mine didn't really seem to need it, as my bike's neck is rather thick. All in all, it held securely and didn't slip throughout the ride. The universal ball-joint swivel that allows the phone to be turned and adjusted is, in my opinion, a bit loose. Even a gentle bump against my phone would knock it out of the position i'd originally mounted it in, and I had to take care when trying to check my distance and speed that I didn't disturb it too greatly. I had to take away one star from my rating for this, as there seems to be no way to adjust or tighten this connection, and I only see it going more slack with use.As a last line of defense, the Koomus is equipped with a rubberized plug on a bungee cord that can be pushed into the headset socket in the event that the phone falls from the cradle. In order for it to be useful, I had to twist quite forcefully to push the plug into the headset socket, but after that it seemed to hold snugly. I worry, however, that over time this rubber plug may break off within my headset socket - it's not something that I use at all, but that certainly doesn't make it ok for something to be broken off inside of it.

Works well and using on Motorcycle
Was in need of this to use on my motorcycle with my iphone6. Bought this item based on reviews and price. At first upon receiving and inspecting, I was very skeptical that this was going to work well. To my surprise, it does! It clamps down nicelyon the handlebars and my iphone is nicely secured. I have this installed on my motorcycle while doing 100km/hr. No issues and easy to use. Its also small and doesn't take too much space. Would recommend.
