Koomus Urban-Dash Smartphone Magnetic Car Mount for Dashboard Windshield

this item kept falling off my dashboard. I emailed the company, Koomus, but they did not reply. Tried to call them but they do NOT have a phone number on their website.So if they do not read this and give me a solution. then I will return the item.UPDATE: they offered a replacement but I told them the device is not faulty, it just does not stay on the dashboard, as advertised. So now I put it on my windshield and it stays attached. HOWEVER, I had to put it on the far left side and I had to buy a LONG power cord for that. The cord runs from the armrest up to the center of the dash, across the steering column and then to the phone...........not a good result.So I will change my review to give a few more starts but I WARN anyone who wants to put this on their dash that they need a very extra smooth surface and even then it may not work.

I’ve had issues with this new design since day one. My phone doesn’t have a heavy phone case. The magnet worked but the pivot head would slip down and not stay up. Ever!!! Awful design. It’s flawed. Don’t buy.

This is a horrible design. I had to replace my previous dash mount Koomus when I broke it. This new design has a lever mount, rather than the fixed goose neck design of the previous model, which “can be tilted to create optimal viewing angle”. With the weight of my phone and every bump on the road the lever drops further and further down, eventually leaving the phone screen facing at a downward angle. I had to rearrange the mount at least a handful of times in just a 30 minute drive.I’ll be returning this immediately and ordering the older model ASAP.

Does not hold a phone up. The old model is SO much better. So disappointing. I also can’t get it off my dashboard 😑
