No you can definitely detach the seat I use it without the seat and I’ve seen some people just use the seat

Q: Is it friendly to caesarean mothers?

It depends on how long you have a C-section. I have been 7 months after the C-section. It is acceptable. If you have a C-section for only a few months, it should not work.
