JOLIE. IMPECCABLE MEVivid Colors Bold Effect Lipsticks (Blue Raspberry)

This lipstick is exactly as opaque-yellow as it looks, and, thankfully, it goes on smoothly just exactly as opaque-yellow as it looks! I am sure glad of that because I love so much using a very thin coat of it to ‘warm up’ some of my lipsticks that looked sooooo great in the tube in the store … but when I got home and put them on MY lips … they all turned out to be too ‘dead-looking dark and blueish’ on me! This particular yellow lipstick is just wonderful for changing that! (Believe me, because of my lips ‘turning blue’ problem, I have tried gobs of other “yellow” lipsticks, but they didn’t work well … but this one does!!!) I’m buying more of these as soon as I finish typing so I can always have one in my purse, one in my makeup kit and one in my carry-on!!!

Other reviewers were right - this lipstick is a bit dry and that does make it difficult to put on (I'm afraid the stick'll snap in half if I push too hard), but at the same time, the color is so vibrant and beautiful that really, it doesn't matter that much to me whether it's dry or not. I'd say it's still worth the purchase, but remember to keep your lips moisturized!

It really did not come out well pigmented as I had hoped it went on like a lipstick but the color just looked runny. I was better off using eye shadow.

This is a good true-to-color yellow lipstick. It is not sheer, but very opaque. It is also NOT moisturizing at all. I personally only bought this so that I can mix it with different shades of red lipstick/lipliners. The results are beautiful variations of orange colors.
