Well designed, good value
This is the best pitcher I have purchased for the money. The capacity is large, it drains fast, and the water tastes good. The pitcher itself is easy to handle when full, the handle is rounded perfectly to feel balanced and is comfortable on your hands. I hadn't really noticed this about other pitchers exactly, but having not used this one not having sharp plastic edges on a handle is a quality I have appreciated about this one. The only inconvenience I have experienced is if I tip the pitcher too far forward the filter falls out, but this is if its almost empty and I'm trying to pour out the last drop. Otherwise I have no negative comments I could leave!

Great tasting water
Love the product! Works well! Only thing is the lid keeps falling off. Had to duct tape it on. The water reservoir lid works so I can still add water.

It's clearing up my eczema and my acid reflux! I have one for work and home!!!!
I have severe eczema and a pretty acidic body in general. I started using Alkaline water at home and at work (I have about a dozen coworkers who use this pitcher along with me now because it tastes so great!) because I had read where it can help with a ton of issues, including eczema and acid reflux. Let me tell you, I have never been so impressed and amazed as I am with this product. The Ph of the water at my house and work are between 6.5-7 but using this pitcher (and the Eco4us filter refills) raises it to between 9-9.5! I am including a photo of my pinky finger, which had a pretty bad eczema rash that was there literally for 2 years and no steroid creams helped - NOTHING helped. Until I got this! I had a gnawing itch (literally would chew on my own finger for relief, how crazy is that?) that refused to go away for 2 years. I realized last night it is almost healed! I have changed NOTHING as far as medications (OH- I was taking 80mg of Prilosec a day - I am down to 20mg! And sometimes NONE!) or diet other than instead of drinking tap water I am drinking alkaline water. I also use it to make coffee and it reduces the acid in it as well.Believe me or don't but the pic of my finger where it is bleeding was at the end of December. It's mid February now and the other pic I just took. Photos don't lie!

Alkaline filter = 5 star, Pitcher = 2 star
The alkaline filter that came with the pitcher works great. I bought pH test liquid (ASIN: B01JTQ5E38 ) and tested my tap water after filtering. It read around 9 - 9.5. Keep in mind that you may get different results depending on the pH of the water you're filtering, my tap's pH was an 8.The pitcher is disappointing - I would have returned it, but unfortunately, I had already opened the filter. The Digital Filter Replacement Indicator was dead on arrival. There's no way to replace the battery in it as far as I can tell.Additionally and as one reviewer said, the filter falls out when you tilt the pitcher to empty the last little bit of water. It's a design flaw of the insert. There's no "notch" to hold the filter in place like there is in Brita pitchers. My recommendation - buy a Brita pitcher, pH test liquid, and this manufacturer's alkaline filters that fit in Brita pitchers (ASIN: B01N5TUTI1).Hope that helps.

TESTED (correctly) - Gets to pH 9-10 even on pH 5 distilled water (see photo)!
Works to get water to pH 9 - pH 10, even on pH 5 distilled water. Tested with standard "Water pH Reagent Liquid" (see photo) - note that you can NOT accurately test water with pH strips, they are meant to test bodily fluids. Search for "Why Don’t pH Strips Work in Purified Water?" for more on this. This isn't the best-designed product - if you tilt it enough to get all the water out the filter/lid tend to fall off, and if you fill it to the tippy-top when filtering water leaks out a bit. So basically you need to always stay around 20% away from doing anything all the way.I'd say it is a 4-star product computing in value-for-money, but I'm adding a 5th star to counteract the 1-star reviews from people who made the mistake of testing purified water with strips instead of liquid drops or digital probe. Also, as many here attest, the customer service seems pretty amazing!

Amazing customer service, but filters lasted 1 week at best.
I was so excited for this product. We have a NSF filter on the fridge, but the water, even with a new fridge filter was giving both myself and hubby heartburn. This seemed like the easiest fix. When our pitcher arrived, I took the sticker off the filter, soaked it for a good 30 min, ran about 4 liters of water through it, and was absolutely amazed by the taste difference. But our pitcher would only fill about 1 liter, so I contacted the seller, and he said it might be a faulty filter. He sent me 3 more filters to try. We used the first filter almost 2 weeks and then both hubby and I realized we both had heartburn after drinking the water again. I drink approx 2 liters day, I am lucky to get hubby to drink 1 liter. So we only used at most 3 liters a day, and I have always left it as full as it will fill so the filter stays wet, and we only run pre filtered fridge water through it. Figured ok, that first one was faulty. Changed the filter, took off the sticker, soaked it 30 min, ran 4 liters through it again. This next filter filled the pitcher as it should, but it too only lasted 2 weeks with us only using maybe 3 liters total a day. While we would save a little bit over buying gallons from the store, the overall savings ends up being very small as a gallon that does not cause heartburn is 89 cents.
