This worked great for granite countertop. A little difficult installing. Shaving wood to be smooth but well worth not seeing brackets under the counter which is the look we wanted. Cheaper than stores on Amazon. But the seller did not provide screws.

Used to install granite countertops - happy with sturdiness!

I was past the marble institute's recommended maximum distance for self supporting granite overhang. I installed these and the granite countertop installers were impressed with them. Full confidence of no failure with my newly installed top; i.e. peace of mind.

I installed a floating counter top of butcher block. Since its not granite and not nearly so heavy, I used 3 for 90 inches and it seems like more than enough. The way the metal in soldered together the seem is always going to make it not go flush up against your wood unless you router it out. Even then the brackets aren't a perfect 90 degrees. They're a matt black which can rub off on your counter during install. I'm not sure better brackets actually exist, so I would go ahead and recommend them.

I bought five of these but ended up using four because of the installation limitations. They will be supporting some 2cm quartz countertop on a kitchen island.Of the five, three were painted flat black, two were gloss black. Seems odd but won't be a problem as you can't easily see them. One came without screws. One wobbled when the 1/2-inch thick side was laid on a piece of flat granite. The other four did not. The 90 degree angles seemed pretty close.Made in the USA. They all should have been good and the same.

Returned this product to seller. I was looking for a pair of brackets at least 18" on one leg to make a shelf to attach to a desk. These were much too heavy for my use. Construction and quality of the product was exceptional.

The media could not be loaded.  The brackets are very strong and will support a lot of weight. I installed 15x 67 countertops using the 13in brackets. I placed brackets 16 inches apart starting 3in from the edge of the counter. I was mounting counters to block I used tapcon anchor screws to screw brackets to the block and locktite marble and granite to bond the tops to the brackets.

Read all the reviews and yes the one issue with this great solution option for island brace countertopis that the welded joint adds a and 1/8 to 1/4 cut out to adjust the fitting. But I did it slowly, little by little till the right fit. added a few shimmies to level and worked perfectly. Follow instructions for bracing with a stud.

Description says bent and not welded and its definitely 2 pieces and has a big ugly weld on it. The back plate looks a lot thinner than I thought and don't think it can support my countertop without bended. Should've listened to the guy who made this same point on a different review. Just thought maybe that problem would've been fixed. Oh well lesson learned. I'll send them back.

Like the other reviews, this is a waste of money. The bracket is not 90 and the weld does not let it sit flat against anything. No point in refunding it as there is no return for the shipping, there's a 20% restocking fee and they want you to pay for the shipping back to them.Look somewhere else so you don't waste money like I did.

We used this to support a desk in our home office. No legs required. This puppy does the job!
