This is a very good solution for people who only need glasses for reading.

I ordered two one stainless steel and one gold. I like the stainless steel. But the gold tarnished so I could not use after about one week.

I bought the gold tone necklace holder for $4.98 which seemed to be a great price! It looks really nice, and it's strong enough to hold a large, heavy pair of reading glasses. However, the chain is extremely rough, and it snags my hair, and clothing every time that I move. I can't use this if I am wearing a sweater, a delicate fabric, or any piece of clothing that I don't want to possibly get covered in snags. That leaves me with only wearing it with sweatshirts, or taking the chain off, and trying to add a smooth chain to the loop that could hold up to a heavy pair of glasses, or returning it.
