These do react to magnetism. If you're buying these expecting them to not be because they're stainless then don't.

I wanted a pair of stainless steel pliers because I use them to pull the tendons out of my chicken tenderloins. (I am picky about my chicken). My husband's old work pliers weren't sanitary even with me bleaching. These are perfect. Very sturdy, and have excellent grab. Very happy with them.

Arrived quickly works as expected. Lower end pliers but work well.

Perfect...no rust and works great for skinning the membrane off the ribs before cooking. One pair in the house and one pair in the Motorhome.

Great tool, fine finish as I was expecting.
