Excellent for amature enthusiasts
So I purchased the second hand version of this book but truly speaking it feels all new. The physical quality of this book is really up to the mark. Kudos to the seller and also a great initiative by the seller. Now about the content of the book, it is well suited for an amature enthusiast like me, language is very easy and you will find almost all the basic and required stuff related to this subject. So absolutely recommended. Cheers!

A Thorough Compendium
The first page should read: "DON'T PANIC!" It is a very thorough overview of every type and mode of remote sensing ever developed for mapping out the world as it is. In my own class we are not even using a third of what's in this book. Much of the stuff,(I would venture to say), one would never encounter in their career as a GIS technician. It is and shall remain for some time, a good reference for those intending to get their Masters or Doctorate's degrees in GIS. So, I say, if you're like me and using it for a 200 level college course, "DON'T PANIC!"

An easy-go breakdown on basic concepts
The best beginner book for GIS and RS learners. Infact, I liked this more than Lillesand and Keifer!
