This "classic" style of 8" frying pan features... ~ a tear drop finial on the handle ~8" Size (measured across the top) ~ hammered/chamfered handle edge with an ergonomic shape for comfort ~sturdy two rivet construction that securely attaches the handle to the pan body ~blue color/patina ~pre-seasoned with coconut oil All forged pans are very versatile, in the same ways cast iron is. This pan can be used on the range top, in the oven, or over a campfire. This carbon steel pan has been pre-seasoned with coconut oil at a blue oxide stage, hence the blue patina.
