I am in the fortunate position that I have found a brand of black t-shirts that actually last, which is more than you can say for most of the ones I have tried. Not only do they keep their shape and size, they even stay decently black, wash after wash, and they don't start falling apart either.In the past, what has caused me to have to throw them away has been the slow but steady build-up of gunk from the deodorants I have been using, eventually creating horrible-looking white patches as well as making the fabric seem stiff and thick under the armpits. For some reason, it is hard to wash out. I guess I could have tried doing it at 90 degrees, but that would also be at the risk of shrinking.So, I started over with a new batch of t-shirts and used only Nivea Black & White Invisible. And now my experiment has been running so long that under normal circumstances and with a normal deodorant (I used to use Lynx before that), the build-up of white and the stiffness would have set in to such an extent that I'd have had no choice but to throw all my t-shirts out and get a new set. I don't have exact numbers, but some of my t-shirts would by now have been worn, washed and exposed to deodorant more than a 100 times.But with Nivea Invisible, I can only detect the slightest hint of a white colour at the seam – and only if I am really looking for it, and there is also no detectable stiffness. In other words: this is by far the best deodorant I have used both for darks and lights.Did I mention that it also smells nice, and that it works as a deodorant against sweating? Well, amazingly, it does that too, and does it rather well. I often use it twice a day, in the evening after I shower and again in the morning, but that's just habit. I think once after bathing would have been plenty.
