I Came Through Swell Paperback – Import, 24 May 2013

I was riveted to this story and couldn't put it down. A very easy read. I liked the author's style. I learned things about WWII that I never knew before and was captivated by the young boy enthusiasm for his chance to be a pilot. Loved it!

I never really begun to understand what my Grandparent's generation went though during the war until I read this book. A true story, it follows a young B-17 pilot through an experience of a lifetime, all while shedding some light on history. A great read!

This was a very personal story to me. "Speed" was my uncle.Barbara, you are a great family story teller.

GREAT BOOK Barbara clearly defines the conditions her farther Speed Nelson goes through as an air force pilot.very realistic. A very good read.Leland Granberg
