Easy to use and safe for the fish.
Although this set comes with penetrating clips you don't have to put them through a hole you create with the clip. I put the clip through the Gill plate and fasten it outside the mouth so coming from under the jaw into the Gill plate. I have fast and fastened to several fish this way and it holds the fish securely and does no damage to the gills or any of the surrounding tissue. Its worked on small fish and fish up to 6 lbs so far. They are color coded but have no numbers except the weight indicators on each side of the ball. I simply used a sharpie and put numbers on each ball. They float high and sturdy cable and heavy clip.I would buy this again and recommend this product. The only one drawback is there kind of bulky but I have an extra large zipper pocket on my tackle bag that holds them perfectly.

Best culling system ever
I am a very active tournament fisherman. Combined with the right scale, these things make culling a breeze. I love the color combos, and the number adjustments that allow you to weight pounds and ounces, and register them on the tag, so that when you have a couple of 'squeeker' close fish to cull, having your weights pre entered makes it a snap. I like to mark my small fish green (green has to go) and my big fish with red (in other words stop, don't throw this one back) and they have those colors. I would say this has saved me countless hours during critical tournament time, and allowed me quite a few extra casts per event. They also seem to be relatively durable. The only caution I have is to read directions. don't just rotate the weight adjustments around, that may strip the gears. Push the button on the side before registering your weight on the tag. The numbers bounce around fine in the well, and the numbers stick once in the well.Great and thoughtful innovation. Really can't imagine using another culling tag system.Construction Quality: 5 starsDurability: 5 starsFunctionality: 5 starsOnly thing I would like to see is an integrated weighing system option.

Not well made, comes apart just sitting!
I have not used them, had hanging on shop wall. I noticed two of them came apart and the buttons were on the floor. One spring was lost and I put the other back together. I also noticed that the numbers on 3 of them don’t line up correctly. I would not recommend this product they are not made very well. I can’t return them because I have had them 2 months and there was no option to return.

Crap!
I bought these for a June fishing tournament. I kept them in a dry box in my covered boat. When I took them out during the tournament two of the balls had come apart. I put one back together but the pound side spun freely. The return window closed because I bought them too early.

Great product that does not harm the fish when used properly.
Excellent product. Many people would use it by punching a hole in the fish's mouth, but it works better to slide between the fish's gill plate and gills and hooking in front of the mouth. There is a great demonstration on YouTube at watch?v=2dvw9a1Ww6U or Google BassResource How To Cull Bass - Quickly. Watch the whole thing, but the demo is at the 3:00 mark if you are impatient. It works perfectly and does zero damage to the fish.

Hooking system can be hard on the fish if you don't take the time to hook them well.
The pounds and ounces are great since you can mark each fish for total weight. Color coded also allows you to know which fish you weighed first example "Blue" for being first alphabetical letter. Once you start to cull your fish in tournaments you already know which is smallest fish and can put it back in water without harming it. Having the #6 culling ball really works out great. Hooks could be better designed to help keep from destroying the fish mouths.I have used it several times and have had great success with it.

Defective out of the box
One of the balls fell apart when the package was opened. 6 Comes with the set and in most cases you can only have a 5 fish limit so I can still use the system, just don't have the extra marker that allows me to mark fish number 6 before putting it in the live well and then finding the cull fish to return to the lake.

They're OK!
These work. They make it very easy to get a hold of and pull a certain fish out of the live well. However, the weight dials on the balls do not rotate very smoothly and the numbers do not seem to line up very straight so that the weight will be clear to a user. If they aren't any better than that, there are other more reasonably priced culling systems to choose from.

All but one of the balls works
I couldn't find a way to reach out to company. The yellow ball just rotates and does not lock in place. The other 5, 3 of them are fine - the other 2 lock between numbers so you have to remember if its 9 oz or 10 oz same with lbs. Bit of a pain in a fishing tournament. If they were perfect like the other 3 would make it alot easier.

It's well constructed with stainless steel leads and easy to set/read the weight measurements
I thought this product was a little on the pricey side but exceeded my expectations when I received it. It's well constructed with stainless steel leads and easy to set/read the weight measurements. I would definitely recommend this product.

Mala calidad
La calidad es mala uno me llego roto, otro me duro un solo uso, los demas no los he usado por temor a romperlos. Si fueran de mejor calidad seria un exelente producto

Very easy to use
Use these in a bass tournament and found that having the weights clearly marked on the floats perfect for quick identification of fish to be culled.
