I wish I'd skipped this one
Civil War 2 was awesome and I was SO EAGER to read all the Tie Ins. This one? A giant kick in the readingflow I had going on. Just Issuie-long Stories about ONE of the avangers and they didn't even slightly scratched the moral debate and fight of CW2. ok, Lady-Thor at least went to Heimdal and asked for advice. What do we get? An entire Flashback-Issue and "Oh thank you for showing me that!"Vision's Story wasn't about CW2 (and since I don't like Vision, yet alone a pure Vision-Storyline i kinda skipped through that one too...)In CW2 the Teen-Avengers, whose storyline I was looking forward to, just sneaked away and hid themselves from moral debates until Miles met up with Cap in Washington.I thought I'd get more sotries about THAT in here. Nope. (Miles Morales 2 was awesome, btw)Ms Marvel went through FanFic on the internet, which I didn't fully read. Liked the ending, it was a laugh, that would have fitted in one page.I was extremly disappointed, Since it's an "Avengers" Volume, not "uncanny" "extreme" or "bliblo avengers", no, it was THE anad Avengers and the volume SUCKED

Divided They Stand
After finding the previous two volumes of Mark Waid's All-New, All-Different Avengers subpar, I'm surprised too say that this third and final volume is the best of the series. It's even more surprising with it being a tie-in with the subpar Civil War II event. Before I begin I should point out that the book's connection to Civil War II is tangential at best, which works to it's benefit. With this review I will score each of the last three issues of this series and the annual issue, then average them for the total.All-New, All-Different Avengers (Issue #13)Each of the main issues follow a different Avenger, and up first is the Vision. After his programming was manipulated by Kang the Conqueror in volume one, he questions Ulysese the Inhuman Seer of Civil War II whether he should alter time to remove the villain from history. This story is great, exploring the ramifications of altering time, and Waid's Vision is comparable to Tom King's The Vision series. Adam Kubert is once again artist, and it's as good as ever.5/5All-New, All-Different Avengers (Issue #14)Writer Jeremy Whitley joins Waid on this issue before moving on to write Nadia's solo series, telling a new story about the All-New Wasp. Nadia Pym is horrified to see heroes fighting, and has to learn that she can't solve their dispute. It's a heartwarming story that lets one of my new favorite characters shine. Adam Kubert's work is once again excellent.5/5All-New, All-Different Avengers (Issue #15)This issue fallows Jane Foster's Thor, as she questions what it means to act upon visions of the future. Through Heimdall the Asgardian Watchman, she learns of the time the original Thor tried looking into the future and how it didn't end in his favor. This is another interesting story regarding altering time, and Waid truly grasps both Thor's personalities. Kubert's art here is good but weird in the way it's presented, being sideways on the pages.5/5All-New, All-Different Avengers Annual (Issue #1)For this issue the story is told from Ms. Marvel's perspective, as she explores the PG side of fan-fiction. A number of talented writers and artists worked on this issue, and it shows in each tale contained within. It's really fitting for Kamala Khan's character as well.5/5I really loved this collection. Each Avengers' story is well thought out and in character. Waid may not have impressed me with his Avengers but these solo adventures truly prove Waid as a writer, and I'll check out his work ever so often. I recommend this volume highly, even if you haven't been reading the series. Overall this collection gets full score.5/5
