Color Yourself Happy: a coloring book for happy people!: 1

I ordered “Color Yourself Happy” as a present for teenage relative who enjoys coloring. When it arrived, I went through it to see if I really thought she would like it. I must say that I am very pleased with my purchase and I am certain that she will enjoy it! It is a delightful, uplifting coloring book for teens and adults. Tara Reed has done an outstanding job of providing drawings of various levels of intricacy and design for coloring and each with the encouragement to think on things that are happy. In order to be content in life, one must learn to be happy and think about good things even when external circumstances might lead one’s thoughts in the other direction. I think that this coloring book will help to serve the purpose of encouraging good thoughts in the life of my teenage relative and I look forward to giving it to her for her birthday.

I just gave my new copy to a fellow employee who is just THRILLED with it!! It made me feel so HAPPY to see how excited she was about the sayings, the designs she like the best, and the excitement she had over the quality of these fun HAPPY-FILLED designs! She is planning to buy special markers for her book, and can't wait to color a bit here and there during work when she can, and needs a relaxing joy-filled break! Of course I will be buying another one for myself, and a few more to give out to others..what a perfect gift!

I absolutely love this coloring book. I bought one for myself and a bunch for gifts. When I'm having a crazy stressful day or I'm feeling some anxiety, I can sit down and lose myself in coloring. It's a great way to distracting my conscious mind from all that going on. I love that each page has a message about being happy and helps to remind me to do so.My suggestion is to buy this coloring book and a nice box of colored pencils or markers, and keep them close by for whenever you find you need a disconnect from your busy brain. It will help you to think more clearly, calm down and live and overall happier life.

This is a fun coloring book to turn to on occasion. Very uplifting! There are no small details in the pictures so it is very easy to color in. The paper is rather thin. I have used color pencils and gel pens to color. The gel pens do soak through the paper, but do not transfer to the next page. Also the pages seem to get bent easily in the corners.
