Easy to install and frees up a bunch of room
I used to have an ugly knife block that took up too much room, so I decided to get a magnetic knife strip. I've read that the cheaper metal ones scratch and dull knives, so I went with a wooden one. This company offers different types (colors) of wood to match your decor. The item arrived in a timely manner and well packaged. Included were screws and drywall anchors. It even smelled good out of the package. It took me all of 15 minutes to install (I have a drill and a torpedo level). Really easy and straightforward installation. The strip itself holds my knives very securely and frees up a bunch of counter space that my old knife block used to take up. The strip works extremely well throughout the length of the product.

Giving this full stars because 1) the magnetism is enough to hold knives, not as firmly as the exposed steel Bodum I used but more strongly than other wood finish versions and holds even my larger knives, 2) it's quality wood with the feel and grain you look for when you choose wood and nothing about it feels synthetic or looks like veneer and it takes an oil finish well if you like. 3) good quality attention attention to detail, nice hole plugs, straight no warp, all corners square, holes drilled straight, and thoughtful attention to placing magnetism in the end edges on the far side of the screw holes so that it's magnetic across its whole length with only minor magnetic weakness right over the screw holes, and possibly best of all 4) it's long for this product category so a good value even if others list for less money.

Very nice and good quality!
I bought two and stacked them together. They are very sturdy and clean looking. I might get another one.

Beautiful functional product
I'm taking off one star only because I couldn't order a longer rack because I'm in Canada. I would have preferred 30" but was not given that option. However because I was determined to make this work, I ordered two 16" racks and installed them side by side over my stove. The light from the stove hood highlights my knives really nicely and I'm so glad I don't have the big wooden knife block on my counter any more. Other knives I had in my drawer I was able to put up there too, along with my kitchen scissors. Everything is very secure and looks really really nice. Also I wasn't given an option as to the wood selection but the one that came is very beautiful and blends well with my cabinets. It's a mystery to me how they made these because there's no visible magnet even when you look at the back! They are well worth the money and I highly recommend them. Very fine workmanship.

This is exactly what you want in a magnetic knife holder.
I could not be happier with this and would buy it again if needed. You definitely want wood for this kind of product, so as not to damage your fine knife edges. Just forget metal holders. You also definitely want one as strongly magnetic as this. Too many magnetic holders are not strong enough for heavier knives, or may be so strong it is hard for petite hands to pull the knife off, which can be quite dangerous if any yanking is involved. This one strikes the perfect balance. There is not a knife in my quiver it can't securely hold but they remove easily with a twist. Plus it's made in the USA out of real solid hardwood. All things considered, I would call it inexpensive for what it is.

Obsessed! Get em quick!
I found Death Wish Coffee and purchased a bag with a destructive mindset after a particularly difficult counseling session. The name and image on the bag was just something that was like "Yes, this coffee maybe doesnt get my finances, but it understands ME!"It's WAY overpriced coffee that is cheaper than your average barista stand robbery prices, but more expensive by far when compared to the same sized bag of ground Starbucks coffee! But all things Death Wish Coffee Co. I now have become obsessed with! So when I saw these mugs after finding the bag of coffee is $3 cheaper to order from Amazon Prime than pick up at the only one store in my town that carries it, I found all sorts of goodies, which of course I will review as well. These two mugs were labeled as an "Amazon Exclusive" and "While Supplies Last". So again, need vs want. Uhg! The quandary. But clearly need won out and these suckers came yesterday in the biggest box ever! Two mugs! And when I went to pick the box up to bring in, I was shocked at how heavy it was and thought...maybe I had other items that were shipped to me earlier than expected, and put in same box. Nope! Just two mugs. There had been another box that was a good fit inside the large Amazon box. The inside box containing the mugs...they dont play around! There was bubble wrap around each one of these mugs like you would not believe, then the bubble wrap was very well taped! Needless to say, A+ on the packing. But these mugs are large and HEAVY!! Love the large, dont so much love the heavy. They feel extremely durable, you can feel the lettering both on the side with the logo and side with the funny little "sentiment", are raised. I have gotten used to handwashing many of my drink containers, including my YETI coffee cup with lid, and I think I will hand wash these as well. Those dishwashers are so destructive! I included some pics of the mug next to a standard size coffee cup, and the stainless steel mug to give an idea of size in relation to other mugs you may have in your cabinet. I was going to show diameter...but I am currently drinking coffe out of the DW one, and it looks gross with my keto creamer in it, so what pics I did post I think have some merit. Lol!These were a superb find and I saw more items too! The whole skull and cross bones is so not my general jam, but clearly...I am branching out at age 42. I guess you are never too old to be even more open minded, eh?

Nice product! Good magnet strength.
A nice piece of wood was used. The magnet strength is strong but not too strong. The packaging was extremely well engineered and manufactured. The 18” size holds 4 large knives and a pairing knife nicely. Only reason not five stars they should include a spacer to make it easier to grab a knife. See photos of my addition.
