It's exactly what I needed.
I saw reviews that mentioned a much lower capacity than advertised, so I was anxious about that. But when I plugged it in, ran a malware scan and checked its capacity I was relieved to see that this item is indeed what I paid for. The value is much more attractive than a much larger unit.

Thumb 1tb drive
This thing gets very hot when in use. It doesn’t do well at downloading several files at one time. It shows the folder but nothing in the folder.

Not Reliable
This flash drive is terrible. I moved entire folders into the flash drive only to find out that the files in the folders had disappeared. Other files such as jpg. and video files were so compromised that they would not open. The names of the files appeared the same but when trying to open them, my 2 computers notified me that they did not recognize what it was. The files that I moved individually came out okay, but since I wanted it for mass storage, it was problematic most of the time.I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product!!!

It is not the capacity advertised
The drive i received is half the advertised size according to f3 program which still isn't too bad but I would not trust it to hold any data given the practice of making these drives show higher capacity than they really are can cause quite a few issues.

Easily Correuptible
Like most USB Thumb Drives that I purchase, I run a few tests before I actually store anything on them. First I put a video on it and try running the video to check quality. Next an audio file. Then a Picture, ebook, and so on. Any file I copied over, copied onto the drive with no issue. However, If I tried to open them, my computer said they were corrupted. So I made sure I used known good files. Same issue. I tried the thumb drive on multiple Windows machines like they recommended. I formatted it, even did a disk repair. Same issue. But this is in no way a good quality thumb drive. I have had better luck with the generic Walmart ones that this. It is not worth any price. Not even free. Do not trust it with any of your files.

Would not buy again
I bought this to put pictures on that I have taken for my kids sports teams. I did a bulk move to this drive. The pictures show on the drive but when I tried to open them, they were corrupted. I then scanned the drive to fix any errors. Showed there were no errors. Pictures still would not open. I then formatted the drive and moved about 20 pictures to it and they were fine. Tried to move bulk again, thinking it was now fixed. NOPE, tried to open the pictures and they were corrupted again and would not support program were the new errors. Bad thing, I should not have trusted it. I ended up losing over 5000 pictures. I am livid!

Not 2 Tb...but it's worse than that
Bottom Line: this USB key is not 2 Tb. Instead, it has been configured to make computers think it is this large (I'm not an expert on this, but a friend who is said it most likely has false partitions written to it making it appear larger than it is).Pros: Nifty design with unique latch for attaching to key ring (because credit where credit is due)Cons: Had to format this thing a dozen times just to get it to work. Also, it is not even close to 2Tb (see above). This means that when files in size excess of its actual capacity are put on the key, they are not actually transferred. consequently, when trying to access them later, you will receive warning of "corrupted" files.

NOT 2TB
The first thing I did when I got this drive was format it. I always do this to clear out any potential software that has been pre-installed on my drives and make sure I am starting with a clean, fresh, empty drive. As soon as the drive was formatted, the available space shown was only 2GB. Amazon has this listed as an Amazon's Choice, and the item is not what was advertised at all. Very disappointed in Amazon for promoting such a poor product. 2GB flash drives are priced well below this. I will be asking for a refund. Otherwise, the drive works just fine. I did not have problems transferring files to the drive, or reading them on another computer.
