Right out of the box the finish has blemishes. Very poor quality in material as well. The shoes have scratches and small gray spots. Some of the stitching is bad as well. I would not recommend this shoe unless you plan on polishing the shoe yourself and not wearing it much.It’s a shame because I like the design of the show. Immediately returning.

These are decent leather boots. The ankle part seems wide and bulky but the toe area is pretty slim andtight creating an odd look. Although the brand name sounds Italian they are made in India.The leather quality seems to be decent. It is pretty thin and not full-grain leather. Unfortunately, the inner lining is fabric (polyester) and not leather.Rubber soles are not stitched but glued but they should be great for rainy/wet weather conditions.I ordered my usual dress shoe size US 10 but especially the right one was way too tight. I will try to stretch them a bit but I doubt it will be much help. I recommend ordering a half or a full size larger than your typical dress shoe size.I sincerely hope that you would find this review helpful.

Chelsea boots are among my favorite footwear, and I've had several pair over the years. I'd assess this model from Franco Fortini Ron, a brand that's new to me, as OK but no more than that. Their best feature is a good fit, something I appreciate given that I often have a problem finding dress shoes or boots that are comfortable on my size 13 feet. Beyond that I'd say that these boots are acceptable for the price asked, seventy bucks as of this writing. The leather is not the best but I won't expect it to be for seventy bucks; a better quality of hide could easily cost more than twice as much. Manufacturing specs seemed reasonable -- I don't see any obvious flaws in how these boots are put together. The dye job of the leather, however, is not nearly as rich and attractive as the photos on the Amazon promo page suggests. My bottom line with these boots is that they're fine as everyday casual wear with some decent jeans when or where you don't want to wear sneakers. That said potential buyers should not expect to get a high-end product at a mid-range price. For seventy dollars you get a decent shoe -- not a great one, a decent one. And that's a reasonable expectation.

These boot / shoe are not only fine looking but they feel great. The finish is nice and everything appears to be made from quality materials.I can't wait to see what they turn into with time, I really like the 'worn. leather look.
