A conspiracy theorist's dream come true
I love a good conspiracy theory, and Vanguard is off the charts with them. Secret societies, collusion with big pharma to spread a virus that will bring one-world government and total domination, etc.Add to that all the tech the author has researched, things that make you think, "Wait, is that totally made up or is that something real?" Then you look it up and find out people are actually working on this stuff and then you wonder if the reality is that the military has already succeeded in making it.And this series is just a great story. Honestly, when I read the first book I was thinking, "This is going to be painful..." but I ended up loving it. This book is even better. I don't normally read books like this, but I couldn't wait for it to come out, and now I can't wait for the third one.

He’s done it again.
The author has masterfully taken a complex and unrealistic plot and crafted a story that sucks you in, demands your attention and forces you to accept the unacceptable. Well written, highly entertaining and thought provoking. Thank you for taking me along this exciting journey, can’t wait for book 3.

Action packed fun
Picks up where 'The Adamic Code' left off. Chris Thomas and his fabulous 'Orion's Spear' team battle to save the world from arch-villain Master Mahan and his wicked global conspiracy. All the action reminds me of the old Arnold Schwarznegger movies, but with a spiritual element. Definitely not a child's book, but it also reminds me of the old 'Johnny Quest' cartoon, with its crazy advanced technology. Action packed fun.

Action Packed
After reading C.T. Knudsen's first book I was eager to read his second book, Vanguard. I couldn't put it down from the first chapter to the end. If you like futuristic weapons, and AI computers, complex story lines, well developed interesting characters and lots of action then this is a book that you should read. When I got to the end there were so many story lines left hanging that I see several more exciting books in this series.

Fast paced and fun!
I loved it! Knudsen does an amazing job of developing characters that have you cheering out loud for the protagonist and his allies (Mike Mayberry is a beast!) while feeling your skin crawl as the antagonist spreads seeds of chaos and destruction. Read the book - you won’t be disappointed! I’m excited for the next in the series!
