I needed a new pump for my Moen 3942 Deck Mounted Kitchen Soap Dispenser. Moen doesn't sell one. Bought this instead. Threw away the bottle, the threaded neck, and the rest of the junk I didn't need, and ended up with just the little white pump attached to the long rigid straw. Swapped that into my dispenser and now I'm all set.Seems ridiculous that I have to throw all that crap into the trash when all I need is the pump. So minus 2 stars for Moen's lack of concern for the environment by making you buy the whole assembly.

All I needed was the pump. Searched high and low for the pump separately, but that's alright. It also comes with new rubber and plastic washers and those could use a replacement once in a while.I'm happy if this holds up for a couple of years. I don't mind replacing parts occasionally as part of a maintenance routine. We will see about that.The old bottle had probably been there for at least 10 years with the previous homeowner. Old soap at the bottom. I don't need the bottle (or even the straw) because I bought a long tube from Home Depot that fits into a large bottle of detergent under the sink. No refills.So I have extra parts, but that's okay by me.

This is one of those frustrating home maintenance issues. The soap dispenser pump installed in our brand new home failed after 5 years. I tried a replacement part that was the pump only ... but it was the wrong size as the "head" (from the old pump) would not fit. After doing some more research, I found that this "replacement set" should "do the job." The "pump" component is an exact replacement for the pump that quit working. Unfortunately, in the prying off and pressing on, the "head" only seems precariously attached -- and easily pulls off, occasionally falling into the sink if it is bumped by a large dish. A replacement including the pump head is outrageously priced, so this arrangement will have to "do" until some other solution is required. The downside is that I had to purchase parts I didn't want (e.g. the bottle and washers) and it was expensive.

I had ordered the underdeck assembly (Moen 344111) although I only needed the pump. The original one (after about two years of use) started taking longer and longer to rise to the home position after being pressed (even after cleaning by flushing out the soap). This made its use impractical so I got a new one. It's working fine and I've got my fingers crossed that it'll last longer than the previous one. At $15 it's a fair price but when adding another $30 just for packing and postage it would need to last at least four years to be considered as good value for money. If the pumps were sold solo I'd buy at least three at a time due to the reduced postal charges. A small jiffy bag could easily fit a dozen.

This is my THIRD in 6 years. The PUMP should be available separately, since the PUMP keeps breaking - no, not clogging with soap - but FAILING TO PUMP. Just the upper pump assembly goes - I do not need the long *straw* , bottle, collars, rings, etc. Checked every parts place I could find on the whole Internet. NOT FAIR, especially for what the high-end faucet costs! I can buy ONE TEENY SCREW for a whole upright freezer - but not a plastic pump???? Shame on you, MOEN!! At least Amazon had the best price/shipping on this - said grudgingly.

I only needed the pump portion of this kit to replaced the failed/stuck pump on my Moen 3910 kitchen soap dispenser. It was a perfect fit. I had previously tried to install the recommended pump 139221 into my 3910, but that one did not fit at all. Time will tell whether this replacement is as durable as the original (5 years old). I hope so, but even if I get a couple of years life out of it, I'll be happy.

Received as described. Did not match my moen soap dispenser (I don't know what model i have) but the actual pump was all I really needed, since the one we have stopped springing back. This seems to be a common problem with these things, though I don't know HOW common statistically. Hoping I don't have to replace this again any time soon.

Was a replacement for my old soap pump that the top snapped off. This one didn't fit exactly right due to being a slightly different model (my bad) but I used my engineering skills to retrofit. I don't like that the neck at the top is so skinny, as it is prone to breaking (even skinnier than my original one that broke) but I am encouraging my family to be gentle.
