Why do I have to add a "headline"
This is much more than a typical field guide. Its treatment of the ecology and co-evolution of the mammals and the plant community is very informative. I especially enjoyed its inclusion of human ecology along with that of the other mammals native to Borneo.

Eveything I'll need but is a little heavy.
Good layout with plenty of drawings and maps, and some natural history and tracks. It has everything I need for trekking in the jungle. It didn't get 5 stars because it is a little heavy.
