funny, sassy & lighthearted
Recommend this series to anyone who likes fantasy adventure. So far there’s been pretty good character building but toward the end it’s getting a bit monotonous, hope for improvement in the next installment and some romantic action too.

I enjoyed everything about this book. Entertaining, engaging, well written, and it moves right along. Great characters, the perfect touch of humor and no angst.everything a great book should be!

good
I definitely like this book as much as I did the first book in the series. Every time Ana turns around it seems like Zel is there to bother her. I like the fact that her friend soul is helping her a little more in this book and Coll is helping her as well because he doesn’t seem to have a lot of Hunter duties. Zel is still a jerk but he does come to help Anna. I bet the next book is going to be as good as this one. I’m excited to read it.

fast-paced fun
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. If you are looking for a fun fast paced read this series is for you. Here is a creature so powerful everyone is looking for her; but paying rent is a major no go. She has to have a spreadsheet on her phone to keep track of all the favors she owes; (her currency of choice when broke). The world building is well done; but what makes this a winner is the characters. There is a lot of action that keeps me engaged; not to mention a very slow burn romance that does nothing but crack you up. If you want a fun action paced read this is for you.

omg
These books are so good. None stop action, twists an turns, and a very snarky red angel. Absolutely love this world. Very different than what I usually read. This girl gets in so much trouble, it’s a wonder she will live through all these books.

Very enjoyable
This was short but thoroughly enjoyable. The Red Angel was not as secret as she thought and one more summoner is out of the picture. It will be interesting to find out the actual end game and the role she plays in it.

😂
I have to start with a quote:He pointed a furious finger at me. “You broke my friend’s nose!”Dang. Loyalty amongst part-demons. The Hunters would be so disappointed.“My bad?”😂😂😂You have to be a clever writer to keep me entertained. I keep interrupting my husband’s TV shows with my giggling, but… priorities! I mean, any reincarnated red angel should be all-powerful, but no. Ana cannot even make rent with the cash she receives for hunting demon vermin because the Hunters don’t respect her enough to feed her real jobs. But the real entertainment lies in the character interactions. My favorite is the Archivist, a creepy arachnid-like old woman in an orange sundress. She latches onto secrets like a silk cocoon around flies, and she loves to make deals.Or Zel: “The part-angel does not awaken those kinds of feelings in me. She does not fit me. You are more curious to me.”I sent him a sidelong glance. “What’s that supposed to mean?”Yes, this romance junky sees tiny little lines like this and jumps to conclusions. Zel is one angel who just pops up randomly with demands, but I see him as the cuddly cat who lashes out with claws while you pet him. I like him.Sol and Cole are a pair. Sol is the bestie, but Cole gets all the antisocial whining that makes me think of a younger brother.Should I mention the plot? Does it even matter? 😂 Of course it matters. Plots are the stable elements that make all this fun work! Assigned by the big bad angel Gabriel to free another angel [who, me?], and assigned by Zel to find herself, the Red Angel, she gets deeper and deeper into a hole trying to sort of, maybe do something that looks like she is working without really working. In not attempting to find herself, Ana discovers the human Summoners, despite being considered small fry, are actually planning to create a world of chaos. In all this confusion, I am really grateful for the theme, which is freeing individuals from slavery. Free the entrapped souls. Free the bonded angels and demons. Long live back-stabbing! 😂“Sol was comfortable. Zel kept me on my toes. There was space for both in my life”“we all deserved our moments of melodramatic divadom.”I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I binge read the series, now I can't wait for the next one!
I enjoyed the Red Angel series so much that I binge read the first three books and now I’m bummed that I have to wait for the next book in the series! On top of that, I didn’t want to stop to write a review after each book, which is a compliment to the author, but that means I’m going to leave a generalized review for the entire series. What I liked about the series is that while Ana is far from perfect, no matter what happens she takes a few minutes to stew about it before picking herself up, dusting herself off, and getting back to the task at hand. Sol is an awesome best friend and I’m hoping we get to learn more about her dreams in future books. I liked Zel too, I know that some reviewers complained about how he treats Ana more like a pet and while I agree he is very aloof, it seems like that’s just a typical angel characteristic. I’ve really enjoyed this series so far and I’m looking forward to what happens next!

An excellent read
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and had to finish it in one sitting. While trying to extricate herself from one disaster after another, Ana finds herself getting asked to rescue an Angel trapped by a summoner. Not to mention keeping her secret from being exposed, being threatened by both demons and angels and preventing the theft of another artifact. A well written and fast paced storyline. Highly recommend.

Fast paced & intricate
None of Isa Medina’s books have been short on action, but this one is crammed full, with twists & turns, plots within plots, and plenty of intrigue & annoying Angel frustration. Not quite as witty & playful as the Institute of Magic series, as angels are apparently even more dangerous beings than Fae, but still has a witty edge that makes trying to keep up even more fun. Another excellent read! Just needs a weird but cute pet - except I guess she is one.

loving this world
Interesting world and characters. Vivid visuals from her writing. Only thing I’m annoyed about is that the audiobook isn’t out yet! Thank you Isa I’m enjoying your creation as part of ‘me time’.

Enjoying
I'm enjoying the story and like the characters. The only bug I had is they're really stupid. The way they investigate is ridiculous, none of them can keep a secret and anyone could see through thier plans, they just wouldn't work.
