KONG Zoom Groom Multi-Use Dog Brush Pink

I have a blue heeler/ Australian cattle dog and she’s got a ton of fur. With a thick double coat, I needed something that would get her undercoat fur loosened and gone. We tried another brand’s brush with metal bristles and my groomer recommended this one instead as the metal bristles can injure the dog’s skin if too much pressure is used. With the silicone nubs, you don’t have that problem. Plus, I know my dog enjoys her brushing experience now. She used to cringe every time I brought out the old brush, but now she wags her tail excitedly and eagerly waits to be deshedded :)

This product worKs amazingly well. My dog is a Cardigan Corgi/German Shepherd mix. She has a double coat & sheds fiercely. This brush removers her loose hair & makes her coat shine! Best of all, she now enjoys being brushed. The only complaint I have is that it arrived 3 days later than promised.

Works exactly as expected

This is an honest review. I have a new rescue, a long hair chihuahua mix. This did not work *for us*. I tried it several times and just went back to the furminator, which I use every other day or so. However, the reason I gave this four stars is because this is the dog's FAVORITE CHEW TOY. Someone had busted out a bunch of her teeth, and she was obviously abused, but she LOVES this as a TOY. Those spiky things must feel good on her mouth. She just got up from a nap and went right to the toy and was running around the house with it wagging her tail! I know that since it's all one piece nothing is going to choke her. This dog has made an amazing transformation in the three weeks I've had her, and she was on the euthanize list, not up for adoption. I highly recommend this as a toy for anxious dogs.

I saw a groomer use this for their cat clients and thought it would be a good way to get all the extra hair that has been coming off as my cats have been shedding for spring. However, neither of my cats liked the brush and it only worked when we applied a lot of pressure to their fur - I think this is probably better for groomers and of course, dogs.

For real if you have a dog with undercoat/long coat or your fur baby sheds a lot ….. get this…. TRUST ME… you’ll thank me later. For real pair this with a nice quality de-shead shampoo stick that filthy fuzz ball in the tub soak the coat THOROUGHLY add a decent size line of shamppy from nape to tail and start scrubbing with this fantastic tool you’ll IMMEDIATELY start seeing wads…EVEN GLOBS of loose undercoat coming out. It might even scare you. Don’t panic your pooch dosent have an autoimmune disorder it’s just all of the loose shed that hand lathers can never come close to reaching. Make sure to shampoo your best friend twice. Once for the build up on the skin and root and another for the healthy intact coat itself if your dog sheds bad go ahead and use this tool both times . Now that said if you really really want a completely shed free house for AWHILE this is about 60-65% of the battle the remaining I highly recommend getting a force dryer to dry your dog with after a hardy towel dry there’s a trick to it though look it up on YouTube the technique isn’t hard at all but there is one that’s important… anyway this tool is the best Rely on this and never ever ever use de- shed comb those things nine times out of 10 make the problem so much worse and aren’t great for your pets code at all a great bath and an excellent blow dry and you shouldn’t have any problems with her in your house if you continue to you might need to check with your vet or change your babies food I’m speaking with about nine years of experience under my belt so take that for what it’s worth happy pet pampering

This is a must buy for a dog that needs to be brushed all the time! We have a black lab and boy does he love getting brushed! So easy to use and grabs so much hair!! Quick and easy!!
