Will protect the laptop from scratches and bumps. Probably won’t protect it from dropping it as it’s a hard plastic and it’s probably not designed for that. Decent for the price.

Nice fit but the material collect a lot of fingerprints and looks awful. If I need to go to a meeting I definitely need to take this off. If you don`t how it looks like will do the job

I got this cover, not because I'm afraid of damaging my laptop, but because I really like adding sticker to it to personalise the laptop without ruining the laptop itself. This gets the job done! I love the colour of it and it seems sturdy, but the plastic feels quite cheap.Overall, you get what you pay for. It's not bad, but it's not great. It just gets the job done. But, I'm happy with it!

A mac without a cover may accumulate scratches as time passes. So if you want to keep it intact, buy a cover. This one in particular does a good job at it. Sure, for some people it can start cracking a bit after 3-4 years of use, but I would rather have a cracked cover than a scratched PC.The only thing that I do not really like about this is that it is pretty tricky to take it off, I advice you to be careful whenever you decide to remove the cover once it is installed.

This is my third MacBook Pro, in the past I have always used some sort of protective case and this is to my knowledge the first hard shell case for any of the new 2021 MacBook Pros to hit the market place. This particular example is made from a clear plastic material that clips easily onto the upper and lower halves of the MacBook and so far feels secure. I do not believe that it will offer much drop protection, there is no additional padding around the edges but it seems substantial enough to protect against general knocks and scuffs.My main criticism is that the clear material itself is a bit of a fingerprint magnet so you need to make sure that the inside of the casing is thoroughly wiped before fitting (the pieces are delivered securely wrapped but will mark once unwrapped and handled) - I do not think that this will be so much of an issue with some of the other styles which are less transparent. Also there were no fitting instructions included and it took a bit of trial and error to get the correct fit; I found the top half was best applied front to back (the clips are at the hinges) and the lower half went on easiest back to front as the clips are roughly where the palm rests are. Under normal use I cannot see it falling off, time will tell - possibly the clips will eventually wear and weaken.First impressions are good, this is a very simple design which takes into account the vents and ports on the MacBook it is designed to compliment and does not obstruct any of them. The upper section clipped on with very little effort so I did not feel that I had to worry about potentially damaging the screen by over flexing the lid. Overall the plastic cover feels more grippy than the bare aluminium case so hopefully less likely to slip out of my hands.

Good sturdy product with sleek look.

I was quite surprised reading other peoples reviews about the bottom half of the case. For me, it did snap on pretty well as did the top half, and does not come off with little movement. It does snap on securely and I trust this will prevent the MacBook from scratches or bumps. Problem I had with my old MacBook is that cases from brands like InCase, Tech21 or Speck are very overpriced, yet doesn't guarantee a more reliable protection for your MacBook, and have issues like an improper fit or the same quality plastic as cheaper cases like what you'd find here on Amazon. So all in all, I'd stick with this, it'll get scratched anyway, but least it's not the expensive MacBook that will get scratched.

Good quality case for MacBook definitely will buy other colours.
