Jurassic Mojave Beige Play Sand - 23.5 Pound Sandbox Sand

This sand is so great! Love it. Love it. I do a lot of sandtray therapy trainings and like to use a variety of sand so students can feel what is out there. This is newer sand for me but have used it in a couple trainings now and have gotten good feedback on it. I have also used it in my own tray as well. It is fun to work with. It is sand that feels the closest to what you might see on the beach - color, texture, and weight-wise, but way nicer. cleaner, and lighter feeling! So glad I got it. I love it and am really happy with it. Yay Jurassic Sands!

I've been exposed to several types of sands for play therapy and Jurassic sand has been by far my favorite. Its well worth the price too if you're trying to decide on this sand or a cheaper sand. I love that its not dusty and that its the perfect granule size. I'm a school based therapist and in the room I use, they had a tray with a recognized play sand in it and once I brought the Jurassic sand in my own tray, the kids dropped the other sand like a hot potato! Jurasic sands also do an awesome job packing the sand to ensure it makes the trip (mail carriers are not to kind to a heavy box and I'm glad Jurassic sands take time to tape up the box good). I used two 25lb bags to fill my tray ( 27 in long, 16 in wide 3 inches deep) pictured above and they filled it nicely.

If you have pet geckos that are desert dwellers, this is the perfect fine grain sand

Great sand. I bought this and the palmetto sand to compare. Quality is better here but price, not so much. I ended up mixing this and the palmetto with the sand I get from Home Depot. We have a 7x7 box and it would have cost a grand just to fill it with this. But with the 80 or so lbs of both mixed with the playground sand from Home Depot, there’s a noticeable improvement in the quality of what you get. My only gripe was them shipping it with usps. They refused to deliver it to my house or box and I had to pick it up from the post office.

All our family participated in making sand castle with the kids this weekend. That’s how the sand should look and feel like. We are very happy with the purchase.
