Soooo
I do not recall if I fully understood that it was as a triad + 1, or if I just decided to give it a shot, but getting use to more than two people took some work for me this time around. Maybe it was outside forces, but I wasn’t as there, as I have been in the past, for group sexy times.Outside of that, I’m giving the witch props for recognizing a good thing, even if it took a lie to get her there. Before I go any further, I have a question. Are all romanticized gargoyles, like the ones we saw from the Disney show Gargoyles? Because other than their colorings, that is what I had in my head and what got cemented there when one of them “fluffed a pillow with his talons” while he was hold the witch in his arms, or one of them “clasped his wings together over his shoulders.”The story is pretty darn good. I got to see more of that world like I mentioned in my last review for the Lake Monster book I believe. When they got to the payment for the match maker, that made me want to read her story now. I’m so reading the stories out of order. But I’m good. Now this story has a good ending after a small fright that I was willing to believe would stick, but if you want more than that, follow the link to get a bonus extended ending. Which is what I did.I completely recommend this story for your SiFi, fantasy?, Romance collection. The only reason this didn’t get full stars from me, other than very few get full stars from me, is the multiple mates. I will not turn down a good orgy, but constantly having to work with and over more than two other people is too much for me. I’m not meant for those kinds of relationships. But if you are, you may like this book more than I did.The next thing is just me being a little unfair. The extended ending had a few gaps for me. Most, if not all, won’t be seen by the majority who read it. Except the one with her friend at the party. I read that over a number of times and I don’t know what she really meant.Which leads me to looking for her friend’s book too.So this book is great. Drama, suspense, love, new friends and a very happy ending.

My childhood cartoon crush come to life
I have to say I relate to the author when her inspiration for this novel was the ‘90s gargoyles cartoon. Yesssss… soooo good!Grace is a unique, beautifully curvy MH. I’ve not read many novels where the MH matches my internal insecurities or the lack confidence like Grace does. She’s strong, resilient, and her fashion is something to be desired. The trio of gargoyles that gets Graces attention is drool worthy. I think that if you make lists you’ll have to concede that you won’t get everything, but she’s gets it all and then some with not one but three that complete every check mark she wants in a mate, companion.I also like that this novel didn’t have the mh being dragged off to be saved, or that immaturity ruled. We finally have level headed characters, that have depth, a great story plot, some suspense, lots of steam, and so many emotions.Just a side note for some: this does have mf/mm/mmf scenes, and please read the authors warning as well.

worth the wait!
This book has sat in my library for a while. I’m glad it did. I read it when I felt the desire to feel some true emotions and this book delivered. Grace just wants to feel wanted, go get a home in which she feels like she belongs. She gets that and so much more! The emotions that all three men show (in their own unique way) is tear jerking for sure. They all have their own struggles in life and they worked together, as a family, a clan, to get through their hiccups. I absolutely loved the exploration of found, and lost family in this book. While former clan leader Lachlan was gone before the store began, his spirit was work in each member and in the clan as a whole. Grace was able to connect to everyone at their core and her magic added to the impact this book and on me. Lillian really knows how to write fleshed out and well rounded characters that I hate to leave once the book ends! Can’t wait for more!

I love a sexy fluffy librarian then throw in 3 hot sexy men (gargoyles) and I was hooked 😋 add in a little drama and you couldn't pull me away. Now I have to go read the other stories just so I can keep this wonderful feeling of just reading a great book 📖. Thank you Ms lark this book is going in my reread pile to be reread over and over again 😊 ❤

Sexy, Sweet and Sincere!!
There are few many things I love more than monster romance! I can honestly say, if that's all I was allowed to read for ten years, I'd be fine. Lillian Lark does a phenomenal job at combining steam and tension. The sexy times in this book are so well executed and gorgeous, I found myself wanting a gargoyle boyfriend!

Wholesome and smutty at the same time
Oh my God, that was a rollercoaster I couldn't have even imagined. There was plot, and there was smut, and the two worked in tandem to wreck me.I went in knowing quite little (a monster RH was all I needed to know). And right from the start, I get slapped in the face with a character - Grace - who is so much like me in the way she sets her expectations that I feel attacked. She has lists for everything, including what she's looking for in a partner, except I cross things out every now and then because my standards are apparently too high.Elliot is an absolute delight. A himbo with a heart of gold. Golden retriever energy, specifically the ones that look the proudest while biting their own tails. Scheming his way into dum-dum territory. I love him and I want to kiss his empty head and watch the small wheels in his head turn as he tries to outsmart his clan.Boderick is the artistic cocky one. Not exactly the jock, but not really the bad boy either. I think I like him most, though he gets lost between the two other gargoyles and it's a shame. He is definitely the most centred of them and is such great support for everyone there, even if he doesn't get all the recognition he deserves.Alasdair goes through the biggest transformation, it seems. He starts off appearing rude and distant, but as he comes to terms with his own shortcomings and starts dealing with his issues he really comes into his true clan leader self.An absolute delight to read, even if it gave me the feels a few times, and scared me once, towards the end.

Intriguing, steamy, great monster read!
Deceived by the Gargoyles was a highly anticipated read for me… I was counting down to it’s release and I am thrilled it wasn’t disappointing! We meet Grace, a witch who has no luck dating, before turning to our favourite matchmaker for some help!Enter Elliot, a charming, charismatic, cheeky man who Grace can’t help but like!Things aren’t quite what they seem though.. because Elliot is hiding a few things…like the fact he’s a gargoyle… and the fact that he has two other mates! This book was everything I wanted it to be and more! The Bramblewicks were such an endearing clan, each gargoyle was a totally different character and personality. Each had their own unique traits which you couldn’t help but love.Seeing the different ways they interacted with Grace, in order to court her was so enjoyable to read. The steam in this book was high! We saw both MF and MM scenes, and MMMF scenes to boot too. There is also knitting. Oh and the things they did with their tails?! 🔥🔥This book had passion, intrigue, emotion, heart. One of my favourite reads of the year so far. I really love the world building and characters we meet in these books, and I’m already impatient for the next book.

Loved this beautiful and steam story
I loved this steamy, monster, love story. The author was careful about writing of the insecurities that our heroine has due to her horrid family and terrible dates. I know the main female character is a beautiful plus size witch more due to the picture rather than the writing and that was a shame. Their courtship and romance was lovely and the intimacy filthy and hot hot hot, we get lots of mm, mmf, mfmm, etc, it is HOT 🔥

Salacious MMMF romp
This story started off well and I had high hopes for it. The world building was good and so was the characterisation. Unfortunately, at around the halfway mark, the story lost momentum as the book became a vehicle for one bedroom scene after another. Now I like steam, don't get me wrong. However, it felt excessive and started to bore me after a while. I did end up skimming pages towards the end.

Much anticipated…
And oh boy, was it worth the wait!Lillian Lark has a fantastic writing style, which brings a wonderful level of maturity to her characters, and books. She is one of my favourite authors of this genre! The characters were portrayed beautifully, making the relationships honest and believable. They all complimented each other so well, it’s got me wishing for a polygamous clan myself (hah, sorry hubby). If you are open minded, or even sitting on the fence about this set up, I promise this book will woo and convince you. A total recommendation from me!
