Rhino Retro 2" Bottom Drain

I needed a bottom suction for my liner pond. You just fill it with sand and I used some rocks to top to keep it down and disguise it. It says 2” hose connection but it was 1.5” hose connection

Works great. I had made my own bottom drain, which worked well. As time went by, my homemade drain required more and more maintenance from leaves and twigs clogging the intake holes. This drain allows the pump to slowly pick up the leaves and debris, allowing easily be cleaned from the pump skimmer basket. I would definitely recommend for somwanting to add a bottom drain.

It works great, the two inch seemless hole, has no hang up points. I run it with a 4000gph pump with basket to catch larger debris. My only issue is that smaller fish (4-5) will get sucked up into it. Believe the feet are a tad too high. Other than that, great product

Work perfectly and does a great job picking up leaves and debris from the bottom of my 10,000 gallon koi pond. It even picks up small sticks. I find all kinds of crap in my pump basket. Great product, I may buy another.
