Good Dashcam
I like how there is one unit to record both the road and the inside of the car. Other units might have to connect a second camera if you want to record inside the car. I also like the GPS so that my speed is recorded as well. The video and audio recordings are good. The app is pretty easy to use and convenient to look at recordings as opposed to having to take out the memory card every time. The suction cup works good for mounting to your windshield. I never had any issues with it coming off. The wire is long enough pretty easy to run to plug in to your car charger.I did have one problem with mine. After about two months of working fine, it would record for about 30 seconds and then freeze. I contacted support via email. They were usually quick to reply, usually within 24 hours. They instructed me that the memory card was the problem. Formatting it in my computer first like they recommended did not help. It was a SAMSUNG EVO Select Micro SD-Memory-Card 256GB. I went ahead and purchased a SanDisk Extreme Plus 128 GB. That seems to have solved the problem. I see where the seller recommends not using SanDisk Ultra, but I suppose SanDisk Extreme is OK. I have read other reviews that say what memory card you use matters. Just not sure why it worked fine for two months with my Samsung card, then all of a sudden stopped working.

I'm very impressed with the quality of the Avaett Dash Cam
The media could not be loaded. After some research and comparing I decided on the Avaett. I'm very impressed with the quality of the Avaett Dash Cam. I think every car should have this one because video proof is importan. The camera was very easy to setup and install in my car. It literally took less than 5 minutes to get it all ready to go. You can use cigarette lighter socket or hardwired with a separate install kit. The features of the camera are everything you need, excellent video quality (even at night and in bright sunlight). Any footage can be quickly downloaded to your phone using the app and includes full telemetry such as map tracking, coordinates, speed etc.Simple and effective. Two thumbs up

Good Dashcam - Be Careful What SD Card You Use
SECOND UPDATE:I got a 256 GB Samsung Evo SD card, and tried that in this dashcam. The videos are now 3 minutes long, so that card will work. It would be very nice if the seller could give an "approved" listing of what SD cards work in the dashcam, and which do not. Read the thread below (bottom-up) to follow my updates from the start.Newest version of the Avaett Android app appears to be fixed.PROS:Pretty good video, you can read road signs and license plates for the most part, so that's good if you get in an accident. Reasonable price is good. Seller contacted me and asked me to try a different SD card after my original review, so that was good.CONS:The blinking LED light on side facing the driver is distracting. However I covered mine up with a small strip of electrical tape so I don't see the LED lights anymore. Also there really should be a way to turn off the speed display on the video so it doesn't get recorded.=======================================FIRST UPDATE:I had returned the item to amazon and the vendor reached out to me and asked me to test another unit. The new dashcam also only recorded 35 second long videos. I then tried a different old 32GB SD card in the unit, and then it worked correctly! The SD card I originally used was a Samsung Pro Endurance U3 256GB, so do stay away from that SD card in this dashcam. Now go check your videos and make sure they are not 35 seconds long, and if they are then use a different SD card. I will update this review if I find a 128GB or 256GB card that works correctly. I actually liked this dashcam for the most part.=======================================ORIGINAL REVIEW:My videos from this dashcam are all 35 seconds long! All of them. No matter if I set it for 1 minute, 3 minute, or 5 minute loop recording. This is a major failure and means that this dashcam has to go back. FWIW, the app usually does not connect either. I am on Android, and have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and connections are like one in ten tries, and when it does connect I cannot download the videos as it drops the connection when I try.

2 cameras in one
This camera seems nicely made and the one I currently own functions great. I bought a second one for my other car I'm so impressed. This is a new product however, so time will tell on it's reliability. My only complaint is that I was sent one from Amazon that had already been opened and messed with, so technically it's not new. I could tell because the box looked like it had been opened and the language had been set on the camera to Spanish, not the default English when I powered it up. Fortunately, the screen's protective plastic had not been peeled off yet and there was no damage. A suggestion to the vendor, seal the box with some sort of tape. It's too easy to open, mess with and pack back up for a sneaky return.I reset everything to default and changed all the settings to what I wanted. It's very easy to set with good sized buttons on the bottom, easier to see and push than if located on the side. I also like the 2 cameras in one unit. I've positioned it so that the rear facing camera can see out the back window, so it should suffice for a decent rear and interior view. What I did since it uses USB power was turn on my computer and use it's USB port to power up the camera and adjust everything. It was much easier to do while sitting in my office chair to fiddle around with all the settings than sitting in my car with it idling. It got only slightly warm while powered up too. Happy so far.
