Highly recommended for glass artists and craftsmen cutting glass tile
I do fused glass work and wanted to start making pattern bars to include in my fused glass work. Pattern bars are stacks of strips of colored glass that are fused into bars and then cut into small tiles with a tile saw. This blade got the highest recommendation from a well-known fused glass artist.I paired this blade with a low-end, but highly recommended tile saw made by Skil. The two work wonderfully together. When I compared this blade to the one provided with the Skil saw, I could see that this one was thinner, eating up less of the material, and had a lot more diamond area for wear. (The diamond area is the outer strip you see in the picture of the blade.)

Worth the $$$$.
I am a do it my-selfer, and have tiled floors, showers, etc. I just got this blade for my inexpensive Skilsaw tile cutter to install a glass tile kitchen backsplash. It is the best blade I have used so far. It cuts very nicely. I have found in tiling that sometimes no matter what you do there may always be some chipping, so just get over yourself, and use this blade to minimize it.

Cuts okay, but leaves markings on the glass
Word of warning to those using to cut pattern bars or other thick glass, the label on the blade rubs onto the glass leaving a residue that must be cleaned or devit happens. It took about an hour and a half to clean the label material off of slices cut from 12" pattern bar.

Minor Chips for Glass Mosaic
Used this to cut through a ton of glass mosaic for my kitchen backsplash. I'm not sure how this would handle through glass subway tile, I feel there may be a better tool to score and snap those than running them through a saw. There was chipping, but that's to be expected, it's glass after all.I highly recommend this though as the normal blades that ship with wet saws are huge compared to this guy and with all berating tools, it will annihilate whatever you run through it. Compensate for the size of the blade with your measurements.

Top Quality blade for glass or porcelain tile.
Purchased this blade to cut glass tile for a bathroom remodel. Very good results. Most tile blades are not designed for use on glass or porcelain tile. If you are doing glass tile with this or any other blade, you need to go SLOW for professional results. This blade did not leave any rough or sharp edges and 95% of the cuts were of factory quality. The other 5% were of decent quality. The MK Diamond blade is quite expensive but if you are cutting tiles just once then you are saving money compared to cheaper blades. One bad cut on a tile that cost $7 a piece and it doesn't take long to be going backward in the savings category. Also used this blade to cut marble floor tiles and was very impressed with the results. Blade did not seem to lose much of its sharpness after using for two fair sized projects.

Came out pretty smooth. Hope this helps someone
Have no other glass blades to compare it to, but I can say this. Using a Harbor Freight bridge saw I was able to cut 1/8" glass at a 45 degree bevel. Came out pretty smooth. Hope this helps someone.

I make up cycled wine glasses using wine bottles. We looked everywhere for a blade to cut the bottles that wouldn't chip and eat up the glass. This is the blade to use if you need it for any type of glass cutting!!
