My original Schlage door handle was showing signs of wear and wanted to change it out. Went with this and right away I felt the difference in quality. It was lighter and felt cheaper. After installing it, it just didn't feel right. So I'm returning, ordered Schlage and it felt much better.

Good value, looks good. Solid. Merry sent you cactly the same size as the old one so we did need to drill. I don’t blame the handle—we replaced original that was 25 years old.

It was fairly easy that install and works perfectly .

It just seemed kind of cheap and flimsy, we were replacing a cheap/flimsy lock that broke. We went with a schlage that was more than twice the price, but seemed like it was much sturdier. There are a few things that I don't want to break, door mechanism on my front door.

I retuned it because it didn’t work and was poorly crafted.

Used this door knob for our front door, but it is already broken. Don't waste your money on this knob. Very poor quality.
