This is a beautiful and sturdy knife board. This block is wider at the bottom than the top making it very stable. Simple but brilliant Prior to this, I purchased two magnetic knife boards that have the stand both were wobbly and prone to tipping Dangerous! I returned them and bought this beauty instead. This block was twice the price of the others but well worth it. It’s double sided so it has twice the storage space. The magnets are strong and it displays beautifully. Plus there is nothing to put together just unbox and it’s ready to use. I’m quite happy with this item despite the price tag. I have not yet tried the knife sharpener that came with it so I can’t speak to the quality of that, but I wanted the knife block so the sharpener didn’t factor into my buying decision. Recommended!

I’m very pleased with this knife block. It is very sturdy and heavy so there is no fear of it tipping over. Several I looked at were top heavy and tipped easily. This one has a wider bottom and is weighted. The magnets are also very strong and knives stay put but at the same time easy to remove. The wood color was very nice too.

It works well, and takes up a lot less space than a typical knife block, but the one I got has discolorations at the edges, making it looked scuffed up.

After having this a year I'm changing from 4 to 5 stars. My only minor complaint is that the wood arrived really dry, and there were visible scratches and scrapes within days of pulling knives off and putting them back on. I used my butcher block conditioner, and it seems like I'll have to use it about every 6 months. I can pull my big knives off without it falling over, and even my heavy knives are held securely. Right now it's holding a set of 8 steak knives on one side and my working knives on the other. This will easily hold a 10" blade.

Love this thing! Super sturdy, and no movement when taking knives off and putting them back on.

My husband is a butcher and likes to have his knives readily available and this knife block did the trick. The magnets are super strong and we like the idea that the block is easy to clean and holds knives on both sides.

Beautiful wood finish!! Magnets hold knives excellently. We have ten knives on it.
