Best headlight there is
If you use headlamps regularly you need this one. We have had these for years and even use them for hunting and fishing at night. They are durable and work great! The batteries don't last super long and are expensive but they truley are the brightest light.

I really like this light.
This is probably my 5th Streamlight headlamp. I use them a lot during the winter months to work outside after the sun goes down. I've always loved the lights because they were well made and very bright. But feeding them with Lithium batteries was always very expensive. So I would conserve its use and uses the dimmer light settings to extend the battery life. But this light however is rechargeable. I just plug the USB cable into it after the days work and it is ready to use the next morning. I now am able to leave it on the high lumen setting all the time with out it costing me a fortune. The light is very bright and I do like the diffuse filter. My only complaint is that it sometimes gets knocked off by accident. I think I would have preferred to have it built into the light housing. But overall I'm very pleased.

Very bright - low power is plenty of light
I’m a bit of an LED light junkie. I have one stashed in most places I may need a light. This one goes in the car console for when I need serious light. I use it mostly for routine car maintenance. It’s available for more serious situations though.Even at low power and the defuser in place, it’s adequate. High power without the defuser throws some serious light. The charging LED is suppose to turn green when fully charged. My unit power LED only turns red when plugged in using the micro USB port. It’s not an issue to me but the manufacturer offered to replace it.Works great. It’s my most often used head lamp.

Stop looking at the others and get this.
So far so great! I purchased this for an upcoming expedition after realizing my previous headlamp was broke. I searched several different brands before deciding to go with this one. The features that lead me to choose this one were few, 1 it is rechargeable, 2 it is streamlight. I have previous experience with streamlight and have yet to be left disappointed. I wear glasses like many others and this does not have a glare effect when worn without a hat like others I have used. It is a bit on the heavy side when compared to previous lights I have had however that is justified by its quality. Oh yeah, its BRIGHT!My previous experience with streamlight is a pocket sized flashlight that I carry almost every day. I once lost it for close to a month. It had been in my yard and experienced freezing temperatures, snow and rain. When found it worked, still works to this day.

WML bright, WML battery life.
For those not in the know, this is basically a weapon mounted light that’s been turned into a headlamp. That means it’s got the usual pros and cons of WMLs:Pro:SUPER bright, you will bother people if you look at them with this on. It is an order of magnitude brighter than your common hardware store headlamp.Includes red and green filters. The red on is pretty useful for preserving night vision.CON:Relatively short battery life, which is to be expected given the brightness. Lasts 3-5 hours on a charge.Significant heat generation. The lamp gets noticeably warm when used for extended periods.Micro USB charging port is falling out of favor. USB C would make this much better.Overall, this is for when you need a lot of light for a few hours. It’s great for working in the dark, whether nighttime or just under a car or something.

Bright
This thing is great. Super bright, no artifacts, plenty adjustable, not too heavy. Heavier than my old double clutch, which was light enough to forget it was there. But not like carrying a sack of potatoes on my head.Excellent product that uses a strion battery. With my strion, this headlight, and a good drop light all needs are met. I might still get one of their pen lights just because they look so cool.I haven’t spent the time to read how to work the ten tap thing yet.The only thing I don’t like is the hokie diffuser cap to change to a spread beam. Since I don’t need a diffused beam it’s not a issue for my needs. I simply removed it.

Bad switch makes turning on a game of how many clicks will it take this time?
I like the brightness and the battery is still functional more than a year into ownership. But maybe within a few weeks of getting this headlamp the switch wouldn’t turn the light on. Sometimes I have to press the button 10-20 times to get it to turn on, and sometimes I would have to press the button 100’s of times to get it to turn on which makes dimming near impossible. I can’t figure out any pattern why it works sometimes and not others. Very frustrating.

Awesome
The Longevity of the battery charge It's good when you need the super high lumins. It is there for you if not then put it on the medium setting for the longest run time. With maximum output. This is my go to headlamp in the only one I have had for over ten years now, I bought a second one cause I got tired. Of going to get it when I needed it. Now I have it in multiple places.
