Being an armchair mystery lover and traveler, I love this lovely picture book (softcover only, unfortunately). As a longtime Midsommer Murders, this was a way to learn about some locations where these wonderful films were shot. I throughly enjoy the book.

Fun to find the locations for the scenes from the Midsomer series. Wish the locations had been arranged by episode.

Interesting to read about the characters and locations.

Good service-interesting info on the background buildings.

It has a good selection of photos from the series with the first few pages dedicated to both Barnabys and to the detective sergeants as well. There is even a small section for Sykes :) There is a double page spread on each location and descriptions of which episodes used these locations. At the back of the book there is a suggestion of places to visit and stay. This is a great book for any Midsomer fan.

A very interesting book. Makes you want to go & visit all of the locations!
