This is an excellent quality riding coat at a good price. It may have just been the coat I received but the zip was very fiddly to do up and I couldn't get it to work at first. It appears to have eased and now works but is still a bit fiddly.

Though a nice coat, creases due to packing were difficult to deal with, Will take some time to sort due to polyester material.

All the straps, poppers and cape bit make it a bit of a complex garment to wear. I just wanted something with length and to keep the rain off but couldn't find a suitable alternative. I have worn it on a chilly rainy day so far and it did the job. I bought a bit larger than my size as I expected to fill it out with layers in the cold. But actually it was warm with only a fleece jumper under it. That said the collar doesn't do up under the neck (4" gap) even with the larger size I got. So the zip stops at just below the top of the thorax level and a scarf was needed to fill the gap. the hood just came to my brow so just enough. At £36 it was good value and the seams seem well stitched.

As is typical of the British weather it has rained less since I bought this. However it has kept me dry on a few occasions. I am impressed with the quality and value for money.

I liked the fact it was long and waterproof

The coat is long, warm and so far waterproof but I’ve yet to use in heavy rain. The two outside pockets are tiny, I can’t even get a glove in each and the inside pocket is too small for an iPhone. The hood is very small and on an XL coat I can’t get it over my head, so I’ve removed it.So for me I’ll have to save it for the worst weather as the small pockets make it hopeless for everyday use. If I had paid more I would have returned it.

Arrived on time. Adequately packaged. Good value for money. Does it's job well.
