Works great!
Glad I added this to my Samsung Smartthings configuration. Now I can take my neediness outdoors! For real, though..this works great and is super easy to add to the Smartthings app. If you're lighting your house for the holidays, save yourself the cold walk outdoors at night to unplug your lights and just turn them off from your phone using this! Love it!

Super simple, works perfectly.
So I got this to extend my z-wave network for my home automation and security system (Telus Smart Home). It was super easy to set-up and add to my network. I didn't really need the power outlet function, but it turned out to be pretty handy. My garage door opener (z-wave) is about 70 feet from my house and wouldn't connect to my system (out of range) The device (garage door opener) was too low-powered to reach the nearest device in my house to connect. Adding this outlet to the garage (still 70 feet away) was enough to reach my house and connect without any issue.Anyways, Very glad I got this and it's simple and just works. Which is what you need.

SI CUMPLE CON LA ESPECIFICACION EXCELENTE
LO UNICO MALO ES QUE LO DETECTA COMO SI FUERA UN APAGADOR DE LUZ NO COMO CONTACTO

Good quality product
These GE Z-wave dimmers are good quality, I have several and this one replaces a cheaper non GE switch of which I had two and both failed, the GE switches I purchased are still functioning. So you get what you pay for. The only issue I had with this switch was when I tried to add it to my Vera network but it was a problem with the Vera controller not the switch. Works well with my LED lights dims without any hum or noise from the switch. It is a tight fit in a standard gang box given the larger size versus a regular switch.

Works Flawlessly
I have a Smartthings hub and all of my home automation stuff, with the exception of cameras, is Z-Wave. These toggle dimmer switches are awesome! The install is a bit of a pain, but once you figure it out it's pretty smooth sailing. The single pole installation is a breeze, but it gets a lot trickier if you are doing add-on lights for 3-way and 4-way switches. Also, a lot of people have asked if these have a great range. I have a 3,400 square foot home and these work perfectly all throughout the home. I also have a detached wood shop that's probably 20 feet away from my home and the switches out there also work flawlessly.Again, the install is the biggest pain and I've learned how to do it myself because my husband hates it so bad I can hardly get him to help me swap them out. But now that I've figured out the tricks, it is a pretty easy project. Especially for a single pole switch.A couple tips now that I've installed close to 30 of these:- Make sure you have a neutral.- If you have an oscillating tool, bring it with. A knife will work too, but these things are always a little too tall for the box and I have to cut out the drywall around them to get the cover to sit flush on the wall.- If it doesn't work, switch the line and load and try again.- For the add on lights, these are the BEST tip that will save you hours: First, figure out which is the first switch in the circuit. Put the main switch there. Then, put the add-on switch on the other switch(es). Then, put the traveler wire in, put the neutral wire in, then wire nut the line and the load together and put them back into the box. The line and load DO NOT go in the add on switch at all!- When you are adding the switch to your z-wave system, always remove it first, then add it. That always seems to make things go smoother for me.
