Awesome grill!!
My first time trying this product after receiving it, I hosted a dinner party for a dozen people. We cooked steaks for everyone on the grill. Everyone raved about how it tasted like we had cooked on a regular barbecue. I can’t recommend more.

Brilliant, quite literally
Pros: - The temp is extremely stable, it never really gets "too hot". - You can cook indoors, even heavy cooking, as long as not much splatter hits the side glass (it smokes if that happens, but minimal) - Easy to operate Cons: - The splatter that happens to hit the inner side walls, is near impossible to remove/clean. - The light that it emits is REALLY BRIGHT. If you're using this for a long time, i would honestly use sun glasses; even indoors.

Pain in the butt to use, to clean
It is serious hot (i.e. too hot), cleaning it, jiminy crickets.

Excellent smokeless infrared grill for both grilling steaks and lighter fare
Because any fat or juices from grilling fall directly down into a cool collection pan (the infrared heating elements are off to the sides), very little smoke is generated. The unit is easily cleaned by putting the drip collection pan and grilling surface into the dishwasher. Both a fine wire grill surface (for lighter fare like shrimp, hot dogs, etc.), and a heavier Teflon-coated aluminum grill for steaks are provided with this model (be sure to get the model which has both). Great results, cleanly and efficiently.

Philips smokeless grill
I love this grill. It is definitely smokeless and cooks beautifully. Use a meat thermometer with large pieces. To check on doneness of smaller cuts, look sideways across from the end. Then you aren't blinded by the lights. I had a problem with delivery. It was supposedly delivered, but wasn't. Contacted the company and they were so gracious and helpful. Highly recommend this company. It finally arrived and I've been happy with it ever since. It is larger than I had expected and hard to store. Make sure you have a place to store it. Enjoy!

We live in NY and Fl ...have one in both locations! They are great....no need to go outside to grill.
