Tele 4 Way Wiring Harness w/Control Plate & Knobs-CTS-Switchcraft-Oak/Grigsby-Sprague

It’s easy to look at the price of this and think that you can buy the parts cheaper, which you can, But only barely. The parts used are exceptional quality and the convenience of being able to “drop it in” is worth the little bit of extra money you might spend over buying everything separately.

I just installed one of these on my 50s classic vibe telecaster. The sounds I'm getting out of the 4th position are fantastic, it really gives my telecaster a totally new dimension and adds a lot of versatility. The switch on this feels really solid and the soldering work on mine was great. The pots they used are very fast and easy to use. My only complaint is that the tone pot doesn't seem very responsive until you get to the lower end of the spectrum. I can turn it about half way down and not notice too much of a change in my tone. I'll probably wind up swapping that out for a different pot. Overall I would totally recommend this for anyone who is considering the 4 way switch, the only complaint I have about it is easily fixable.

This is really an excellent kit. The pots are 100% the best quality. The knobs were solid and feel great.This allowed me to use the setup like this.. Bridge, Bridge/Neck, Neck, Then Neck Split to a single coil.Did I actually do it that way? NO.. I still have to split the neck pickup, but this does allow for that configuration.Great quality! Worth every penny.

This arrived today and is absolutely great! Very well constructed, and made from top quality parts. The soldering is excellent and the control plate itself is beefy. Top notch work! I'll be buying another one very soon.

Volume pot replaced after a few months because it started to cut out at 10 and the 4 switch has always intermittently cut out. Wiring and solder looks good so maybe I'll find the time to redo everything when I can but at that rate I should have just done everything myself to begin with, which defeats the purpose of paying extra for a prewired kit...

Not only was it an improvement in the sound quality but the feel of the knobs and switch just scream "QUALITY"I do find it on the pricey side as you can buy all the exact same parts much cheaper than this kit and if you can solder, then you are home free. I guess it's an added value when they have done most of the work for you though.

Works great! Just be sure you run an extra ground to the pickup cover because you wont have noise cancellation in series mode. If you're doing this mod you probably know that but it bears repeating. Otherwise this really opens up a lot of possibilities for a Telecaster. A mod that really takes it to the next level.

Quality parts, amazing soldering but, at this price, no ground wire to bridge which is a very essential part when it comes to telecasters. Incomplete for my setup, required more components.
