So far I love it - I have not figured out some of it - like can I set it to how many pieces I want - and how to make my own puzzles but that is just playing with it enough to figure it out - the set your puzzle pieces - perhaps I cannot go lower than 280? so would be too hard for a younger person? I have a brain injury and 280 was almost too much for me so it took a really long time to do 280 but I finally managed it - then at the end it said I cheated 5 times and I have no idea what that meant ??? Perhaps because I turned the program off 5 times ??? Kind of insulting to be honest - cheated is a pretty strong word to accuse someone of - LOL I did not use any hints, etc. just my own brain to solve the puzzle so that was a bit confusing and insulting LOL Overall I enjoyed the challenge and I LOVE the fact it is totally offline - no internet needed - thank you very much - whew - almost everything now days requires internet - well what if you're somewhere there is no internet connection and you're bored ??? I can do a puzzle - YEA!!!!!

The Gray Design Associates puzzles are the best! You can use your own photos to create puzzles. You can change the shapes and number of pieces of any of the puzzles, making them easier or harder. You can even choose an option to have pieces rotated to make the puzzles more challenging. Many other options, such as setting the background color so pieces are easier to see in any light.Puzzles can be saved. You do not need to finish a puzzle in one sitting.A lovely variety of puzzles in this set, and I added many family photos to make puzzles for my 90 year old mom to do.

None of the options to check made any sense when it comes to jigsaw puzzles played on the computer. This is a great set of pictures and I am given the option of adding yet more puzzles to the collection at very low prices. I love playing puzzles on the computer as it is impossible to lose a piece or for the cat to decide to play along and mess up what you've done. Very good. Very enjoyable.

I had to figure out a few things to use this software efficiently, such as using a tray and having the software segregate the edge pieces or the middle pieces into the tray, and how to select all the pieces in a tray at once to pick them up and take them back out. Once I got that figured out, I have found the software to be great! It has an amazing number of puzzles and the pictures seem quite good. There is a lot of variety and a lot of options. At first I used the default settings for each puzzle but lately I have changed the number of pieces and turned on rotation of pieces, which is harder. (Using the scroll wheel on the mouse is the easiest way to rotate a piece.) I like the variety of shapes in the pieces. I have used a couple other jigsaw puzzle software programs and this is so much better than the others I have tried. There is no comparison. I really like it a lot and find I prefer it over a physical puzzle.

If you have ever loved putting jigsaw puzzles together, you will really enjoy this Gold edition! No more having pieces spread out all over your table; no more looking for a particular piece and being afraid the dog carried it off; no more having to turn over the pieces and then tear it all apart when finished....this computer version is so much fun--and I never lose a piece!!! There are hundreds of pictures and hours of entertainment.

the disc itself is good. i had four prev discs. i was anxious to rec the gold edition . it was mentioned 200 puzzles. to my dismay i had all the puzzles on the gold edition' i wish there was a way to preview what was on the disc before i purchased it. if u havent purchased any galore discs before, get the gold edition. it will save u money and u will have all the puzzles on one disc. the puzzles are great the best in jigsaw puzzles. goood luck

I was looking for a puzzle builder to replace one I lost in a computer crash and wipe out and finally bought this one. I am not disappointed in it. I LOVE it. I especially enjoy the design your own puzzles with the shapes and oddness variations available! It is a bit expensive ( I downloaded a cheaper one I had nothing but trouble with earlier) but I do recommend it and I like having my own disc so if something happens I can reload it anytime I need to do so!

You should warn that it has the cheaper sets included in the pictures - disappointed I already had parts of this in the Jigsaw Galore edition paid for separately. Also limited 10 100 pieces and can usually finish any puzzle at hardest level in 1 day.
