Great for my laundry room
This was easy to install and to use. Iโve now dried items on it twice since installingSo much better than hanging them outside due to our winding area- now my clothes arenโt across the yard!

Very convenient for those "non-dryer-friendly" situations.
When I was in college, decades back, I bought a retractable clothesline which I strung across the bathtub areas in my small college apartment. It came in handy. I took it down when I moved and reused it a couple of times, during my time serving in the military post-college, but eventually it wore out and I haven't had one since. When I saw this on my Amazon "Vine Reviewer" list, I really wanted to give it a try. It seems much like my old classic part, but with a number of improvements.Note, I have not yet installed this, but I have tested it out a bit. "Vine" encourages its review program members to provide "speedy" reviews. With a possible relocation in my future, I was going to wait to provide a review until I installed it in my new home. However, to meet their needs, I'll provide a "preliminary" review now. If anything changes, I'll update this in the future.First off... installation is pretty easy. It's not quite as easy as my earlier unit, but then again, it's a bit "more" than that old one was, too.The old line did sag, quite a bit, over just the length of my bathtub, when holding, say, my army-issue sleeping bag. This unit is quite a bit sturdier... the line is heavier, and the termination points are heavier-duty as well. A quick test in my workshop with another similar sleeping bag showed a LOT less "saggage" over the same length. It's actually pretty heavy-duty, and that's a very good thing. One thing to note is that to use this you really need to attach it to the wall joists. Yes, it's possible to attach it, using anchors, to y our drywall... but I would not trust it to hold up any real weight in those cases. No, it really needs to be attached to something sturdy and rigid... like the lumber framing inside your wall, not the wall panel itself. Do that, and it will support a LOT of weight, and do so pretty well. It's also a bit more attractive than my old one (which was a round metal "extended disk") was. This one looks more like a home interior component and less like a piece of "hardware." So, while that doesn't matter all that much to me, if you're "style conscious," you'll appreciate that. Finally, this is quite a bit longer than my old one... fourteen feet (max) is a LOT of length for something like this. Instead of merely spanning my bathtub, I could put this across my entire kitchen, or utility room (lengthwise) or even one of the bays in my garage. I'm still not sure where I want it's "permanent home" to be... and won't until I figure out if, and if so, where, I'm relocating to. But I'm leaning towards it being a "garage install," as that's the best place for, say, drying out SCUBA gear, or camping gear, or the like, I think. But this is a very nice unit, and I'm certainly going to make use of it. Probably quite a bit of use.

Invisible Clothesline To The Rescue!
My gas dryer recently quit working, and I was very fortunate to have come across this clothesline when I did. My laundry closet was built around my now faulty dryer, so removing it from that space and installing a new dryer will be an involved process, and one that I am not ready to complete at the moment. So, until I am able to complete that project, this clothesline will serve as my primary means of drying my clothes. I have been using it for several weeks now, and am quite happy with it overall.Beginning with the construction of this clothesline, the case of the main unit and the case of the retainer are both made of ABS and feel quite durable. The clothesline itself is made of steel cable and is entirely covered by a rubber jacket. The internal cog gears of the main unit are made up of POM, and also feel quite durable. One area of concern that I would like to point out would be the plastic locking lever that secures the cog in the main unit. This lever feels very flimsy and is very likely to break. However, I am not all that concerned by this as it is a component that serves almost no purpose, due to the fact that the clothesline is secured at the opposing end by the receiver. Also, something that I find strange is the fact that there was no lubricant applied by the manufacturer to any of the internal cog gears. As such, I would highly recommend that you apply some lubricant.Set up was very easy. The covers of both the main unit and the receiver are removable to allow you to secure them to your area of choice. Once secured, the covers can be easily reinstalled. The manufacturer was kind enough to include the necessary hardware to complete installation, including screws and drywall anchors. The main unit and the receiver can be installed up to 14 feet away from one another, as the cable measures a little over 14 feet in length. This allows me plenty of room to hang my clothes and blankets. This clothesline feels sturdy and to my surprise, is able to hold quite a bit of weight. I really like the fact that the clothesline is able to be completely retracted when not in use. This is a very useful feature. Overall, I am quite pleased with this Raipoment invisible clothesline. It has served me well thus far, and has greatly eased the burden of being without a dryer.

Good option for a clothesline
This product works well and is easy to install. You install the main unit and the small piece and can pull out the line when needed. Nothing terribly tricky to it. At $25.99 I think it's maybe a touch priced high for what it is but it's also a super simple product to make your life easier.

Hard part was deciding where to install
It's not too much work but it's enough work for me to pick one place and one place only to install it. Went back and forth between outside and inside. Settled on inside since the snow is just around the corner. After finally screwing in the nails it proved to be much easier than I thought. Now I can move it to the outside in summer! Obviously depending how far apart you set the line then the base will determine how much line/clothes you can hang on it

Easy to use
Just what I needed! It's very easy to use and fairly discreet. The line pulls and retracts smoothly and held my sheets and blankets without bowing much. Very happy!

Love this!!
My dryer broke & I wasnโt able to buy a new one for awhile. Had clothes hanging in closets to dry & it took days! Hung this across my garage & clothes (in Texas) dried really fast ๐จ my favorite part is with it being retractable you can just simply take it down or pull it back out hassle free!!
