I can only rate these relating to the 3mm wire option, as stated you can :
I wanted to use these as I thought they looked sleek and neat - unfortunately I could not get the 3mm wire I purchased to fit , it was so tight, I just could not get it to fit the slots, after an hour of trying I gave up and purchased what turned out to be a great item, as the item PICTURED these worked so well very easy to fit - you are also able to adjust if necessary.

No spanner!
OMG how am I supposed to losen and tighten these? Didn't come with spanner as others do. Also most other have a short side on one so you can use a spanner these did not so very fiddly.

Too small to fit 3mm stainless steel cable
Although advertised as fitting 3mm stainless steel cable, it is such a tough squeeze to actually do this, that I ended up breaking off one of the bolts. Second point is thus that the bolts are pretty weak. I thus wouldn't recommend this size for 3mm stainless steel cable. The M4 ones should be used instead.
