It works as well as you'd expect - but it's not stainless
I use this every day to make my collar perfect and its smooth and easy to remove for the wash. Just to note though, this is magnetic so it is NOT stainless steel. Just so you know if they used a 400 series stainless steel to be magnetic it would not only be 10x the price, but what would the purpose be? I got to say the collar stays are plated very well to maintain their integrity. I have forgotten to remove them on a few occasions and it survives the wash just fine. I'd buy again, but yea false advertising.

Buy these right now
There's no reason to buy expensive metal collar stays if you're not always careful. I wear dress shirts every day and I forget to take out the stays all the time. These cheap stays are a God send... so nice to have ones that you don't need to feel guilty about losing.
