Yes, thank you, more please II!
( I solemny swear not to use the same title for the 3rd VA Graphic Nonel)That said, i can lunge forth with my review. For the 2nd VA Graphic Novel - Frostbite, I can only say that it didn't met my expectations. The disadvatage i refer to, in my review of the 1st installement of the series, has not changed, with a great lot of Rose's witty humor missing which is just down right sad.One of the serie's main addictive aspects is Rose's sarcastic sence of humor, remove that and all you left with is just another story.By any means, i didn't expect to see an exact dialogue's match of the book's adaptated in the comic but the fact that a lot of them is also alternated is simply frustrating. I feel the need to point out once more that I understand how some of the dialogues had to be cut down, but then again i believe they could have made a better choise out of them.In overall, my rating is the same as the last one, simply because i am an established VA addict. On the bright side, Emma Vieceli's illustrations are once again awesome.

It's like falling in love with Vampire Academy all over again!
Today I behaved like a kid at a candy store, completely happy and slightly deranged, because my copy of Frostbite arrived. Then I opened it and four pages fell off...No. I'm not kidding. However, this is a manufacture error and has nothing to do with the awesomeness that is this comic. Three very important things I was hoping for and got.1) Mason: with his red hair he looks absolutely gorgeous in a green shirt. The scene where he dies made me tear up all over again.2) Adrian: who made me swoon all over the place. He looks exactly like I imagined him while reading. I wish he'd gotten more great lines though. I still got shivers when he appeared saying "little dhampir" *squee* '3) Dmitri and the promise of things to teach. Oh yes. That last two page drawing totally made my day. Mwuahaha. Now, MOAR PLZ!

Review for Both Frostbite and Vampire Academy graphics
The thing about me and VA is this: I LOVED THE BOOKS. Oh, I’ve been going through New-VA-Book Withdrawal since the last one came out. Then I decided to purchase for myself a birthday present, and I bought the 1st and 2nd Graphic Novels for the Vampire Academy. The illustrations are fantastic and expressive, and the story is beautifully adapted. I love how Christian and Adrian (in the 2nd book) are drawn, especially. EXACTLY and PERFECTLY how I figured they’d look. These are a wonderful addition to your bookshelf, especially if you’re a VA fan in withdrawal.

Got me interested in the series
I love the art work and after reading the first GN (vampire Acadamy) I decided to read the books. Unlike the Anita Blake GN, these are a lot shorter which I liked because although I was able to follow the story without getting too lost, it was still obviouse that there was a lot of story left out, it was a bit "choppy", (not so with the extremely well adapted Anita Blake GN- no need to read the book if you read the GN!) .....which is why despite having read the first GN I was still glued to the book. I can't wait for the third GN adaptation !

Great Graphic novel
I lo Ed this graphic over. The pictures are beautifully drawn, and all the important parts of the story are included in the dialogue. I love the series and found it to be an important addition to my Vampire Academy collection. I also feel this is great for those who can't sit through a whole novel.

A great interpretation, but not much of a fulfillment.
Regardless of any reviews, VA enthusiasts will probably purchase the graphic novels in order to see these novels come to life. With the first graphic novel, they did a fairly good job condensing the timeline of the story without sacrificing many of those 'standout' moments we were dying to see. In Frostbite, sadly, the timeline is condensed in a way that keeps the story and action going, but at the expense of the very moments that made the book for me.The biggest sacrifice is the dinner scene, which is skipped entirely. The scene change is so abrupt that I thought my book was missing a few pages. For me, a good portion of this book was Rose confronting the many dysfunctional relationships in her life. Rose's interactions with everyone is a key element, but I felt that this was rushed for the sake of story. Adrian's attraction to Rose is hardly mentioned, but I suppose this was for the sake of Tasha/Dimitri and Mason/Rose. I finished it fairly quickly. The illustrations also seemed rushed, with less attention to detail in expression that made the interactions seem less authentic. Overall, an enjoyable visual read, but am looking forward to seeing Shadow Kiss!

Para ser de segunda mano. Estaba en buenas condiciones, con un pequeño rasguño en el lomo, pero sin importancia.

Chillingly Thrilling
I've always been dubious about graphic novels, then then I can be a bit of a book snob. My doubts came with "there aren't as many words of pages so how can they justify being the same price as a novel?" Well, I just found out.So the paper's high quality so that probably accounts for the price in part. What truly amazed me is the drawing. It's captivating and super good and definitely worth it. So yeah, not everything that is said in the novel is said in the graphic novel, but you still get the overall sense of what's happening and, just like in a film, everything that is truly important and integral to the story line is put in and clearly expressed with not just the words that are put down but in the expressions of the characters who really do look lie I imagined them.Totally awesome and so glad I brought it. If you liked the novels you just have to get these!
