I’m not a size 10
My wife has insisted that I am a size 10, and berates me for buying shoes that are not size 10… size 10 in this shoe is definitely too small for me. That said, most shoes in a size 10 are a little tight, with these, much too tight, I would therefore advocate buying these shoes a size larger than what you (or your wife insists) you normally need. Overall, reasonably comfortable but you will need to wear socks with these as the breather holes in the sole and insole strangely seem to nip even my heavily calloused skin when walking/ running/ trying to prevent a belligerent child from running in to the road.

Can't trust the size
Purchased a pair directly from the shop previously. Not the greatest quality of sole, bit nevertheless they are acceptable for where I wear them.Delivery was terrible. Each day I got told, they were despatched and would arrive today. After 3 days, I complained. They arrived the next evening. They felt tighter compared to the exact same size that I already had. I ignored that and took them abroad the next day.Just as well I took my boots also. Blisters galore. This is now week 3 and one foot is still not fully recovered.Never trusting Karrimor again.

Fifth Pair
I was pleasantly surprised by these when I first got a pair and have stuck with them since, so when the time came for replacement I was glad to see they are still available. Having had them before I know to get a one half size bigger than what I would normally class as my shoe size. I use them for jogging and probably average around four 6 mile runs per week and get about a year out them, which I think is pretty decent. I've had trainers in the past that felt comfortable when you first try them on but turn out to be uncomfortable for running. I can't comment on what these are like when used for walking or daily use or any kind of hassle if you have to return them, but for my purpose of short runs they are as good as anything I've used and considered decent over the years.Edit.Just bought another pair of these and although currently advertised as Tempo 5 they are actually Tempo 6 and there is a significant difference. While the uppers are largely unchanged from previous versions, the soles have changed radically - and not for the better, more plasticky and rigid and and what feels like a less comfortable camber. I suppose all good things come to an end. Bottom line they just don’t feel the same. For me they are no longer suitable for running. I will however keep them for general wear but it's now the end of the road for Tempo – shame.

Poor durability
The first time I bought this model of shoe I was very impressed with the durability. In fact, the old pair is still holding up okey as I’m wearing them at the gym on a daily basis. Unfortunately, my recent pair has a substantial degradation in durability. First small tears above the sole seam near the flexible toe area appeared only after a month. Very disappointed with this lack of quality.
