While we have a crate we use when away from home etc., we don’t really have room for that in our bedroom. Plus my husband wants our dogs to sleep with us. Our elderly dog is just fine loose at night, but the young pup is not to be trusted. We’ve used small hard plastic travel crates before, but as he got bigger I went looking for something a little bigger but that would not take up too much space. When I saw this I realized it might mitigate some of the noise of the plastic/metal crates that rattle and bang on the wall when he moves around. It really does, and the dome shape gives him a ton more space across the floor to spread out. I don’t really like how noisy the zipper is when I get him out in the morning while my husband sleeps but he says he has not noticed it. I plan to buy a better pad for the bottom. The one it comes with is kind of flimsy and keeps shedding fur bits when he digs - plus I am afraid it will fall apart in the wash. But otherwise this is very sturdy. I was a little worried about him scratching at the mesh and tearing it, but so far after a couple of months I see no damage at all from his pawing. I would definitely buy this again.

Crate is great! So easy to set up. My dacshund is recovering from a back injury and crate doesn’t have a big edge to step over. Sides are soft so wonderful for her to stretch out.

Great option that keeps the pup contained even when they don't want to be and looks great, too. It's not one that you could carry your pup in it as it doesn't have the support but if you need something cute, lightweight, breaks down easy for storage that stays stationary once set up, this is a great buy. Super easy set up and nice plush floor for comfort. Pup loves being able to see out of the sides and front.

This was the perfect size for my 14 lb Norwich terrier. We bought it for its compact portability, which we needed for a multi-day car trip that involved a hotel stay. My dog loved it so much that he chose it over his larger soft crate that he previously used as his den.

I have a smaller second dog, and thought this crate would be a better fit. I didn't realize until after I opened it and set it up that there's not a single latch or restrain that secures this to the car. I had to Jerry Rig it using my seat belt to get is strapped in. I might have to replace this at some point. But my car is too small to have the same item I got for my bigger dog. I think it's a nice travel crate, for a small dog that doesn't like to chew through their gear. I think it's nicely made otherwise. But it is not designed to be a dog seat/crate.

Light weight; perfect for kitchen

I bought this crate to use for my elderly 8 pound dog. I liked the size and shape and thought my dog would be quite comfortable in it. I left the house for an hour. When I returned, she had chewed a big hole in the crate at the top seam and escaped into the house. I found the crate to be poorly made and not at all suitable for my purposes. Fortunately, I was able to return it. But this time, I had to take it to a UPS store instead of going to Whole Foods. Whole Foods will take a return without the original box--but UPS won't. Unfortunately, I no longer had the box. I had to pay almost $28 to have UPS box it up and ship it--which was half the price of the original product. What a hassle! I talked to Amazon and they kindly reimbursed me for the UPS costs, which I very much appreciated.

Love the shape, fits in the back of my Prius. My dog prefers to be out verses in it and really offers no protection? I harness her to the seat head rest and her harness first, then strap the enclosure as well (headrest thru the handle to the hook on the back of the floor). Think I might still pick up a metal cage, which is more secure and safe for her?

4 cats moved across the country 3 days in an SUV one in each, super spacious, they were as comfortable as they could be. Definitely keeping them for future trips to the vet etc.. very easy to handle, even tho they are large.. we have a new SUV and fit 4 with the seats down, and still had lots of room to stuff things between and around with the back seats folded down. The mesh sides were great for them to see and one got a little fed up on the last leg and tried her darnedest to claw her way out and didn't even leave a mark! And she is the little escape artist of the bunch!! Highly recommend 10/10

This collapsible portable dog/cat carrier is perfect for the car. It’s easy to fold down when not in use and very strong but also very lightweight. I highly recommend it .

So simple to put up! Well-built. Roomy.

Fabric crate was easy to assemble. Zippers were smooth. Unfortunately my 17lb havanese mix scratched and chewed through it in less than 2 hours. He is crate trained (hard plastic kennel) and didn’t fuss over being crated in the past so this was a surprise. Lesson learned - I will not buy a fabric crate for him again.

Very pleased after I put a thicker bed in it. I can lay it sideways on the back seat, so my dog can see me while I’m driving. With the netting, it also gives her great ventilation.
