I don't know if you know, but when you buy these wonderfully felt-velvety-like hangers in this 50 pack-- they are not any more expensive than the plastic ones that you can buy anywhere.~~If you are like me and have many clothes, that are of good quality and a lot of tops that are in style recently, have wide necks or off the shoulder, and they would never stay on my hangers -- always falling off or making more work for me, in the long run.... these are thin and don't take up too much space (like the wooden-style, that some prefer or think are the best)!I absolutely LOVE these and have made organizing my closet an enjoyment rather than a chore... so if you have loads of clothes that always are half-hanging on the hangers you have.... Buy these, they are very affordable and very well worth the money and like I said, I think they work out to cost less per hanger, when you buy them in this 50 pack....50 cents-60cents per hanger...I also want to mention that these are much better to keep your clothes on; say like how most people don't like to hang up their sweaters (because they stretch them out) or with delicate items such as silk, other hangers can snag the material, with these, the felt or velvet makes it so that you position them on they way you want and it stays put and no snags that I have had a problem with... I have bought 3 boxes now of these and think that everyone should buy these!!! They make your closet look way more organized and neat!!

I have twice bought the box of fifty at this point and have completely replaced my older wire/plastic/retail stock hangers for a trim, uniform look in my closets.The hangers' narrow profile allows more clothing fit in a smaller space (which means I now use much less dresser space and have to fold many fewer articles). The body of each hanger is flocked, with a shallow depression in either end, meaning silky, strappy, and even wide-necked clothing are held gently but firmly in place. The hangers seem to manage even heavier-weight clothing without bowing--I have successfully hung winter coats on them--but I still choose to keep my heaviest trousers on thicker wooden hangers, more because the weight of the clothing would become creased along the hanger's narrow cross bar, less because I think the hanger couldn't manage the weight.The metal hook head while stiff at first can be rotated, which makes it easy to hang clothes parallel or perpendicular to the rod.Upon unpacking the hangers, the flocking initially gives off a bit of dust, but I haven't noticed any of it clinging to my clothing or settling on the closet floor. My second box arrived with one broken hanger (the hook had snapped clean off the body), which I attribute to shoddy packing (the Amazon box was undersized, bulging and buckling, and there was a hole on the exterior) and not the make of the hangers.All in all, I'm quite pleased with these hangers and would happily buy them again.

I love these hangers for their thinness and the velvet covering is great for keeping clothes from falling off - even thin spaghetti straps. Their quality is great too - I have actually never had one break (except when I tried to turn a hook which is NOT moveable). My big complaint is the inconsistency in color.... I bought my first several boxes years ago and transformed my closet! As my wardrobe grew, I eventually ran out and had to order more. The color had changed from a perfect ivory to a more yellowish color. It ruined the uniformity of my closet, but not too much so I lived with it. Eventually I needed more again and placed my 3rd order. The “ivory” color was now a gross mustard color?! These are ugly and dirty looking and so different from the others that I can’t bear to add them to my closet. If you look at this picture, it’s hard to imagine that all 3 of these hangers are all the exact same style from the exact same manufacturer... and all supposedly *ivory*....

I bought these on Amazon quite a while ago (2010!) and they are holding up just fine. My set of 50 hasn't broken and hasn't shed any velvet on my clothes. I don't handle them any more or less gently than other hangers except I do not attempt to bend them to squeeze thru necklines of clothes like I sometimes do with plastic tube hangers -- these feel too stiff for that (I think they would snap) and it is not good for your necklines anyway.I don't like the camel color and 17" wide is too wide to be convenient for my clothes. I use them in the coat closet as the width works for zip/button . I have a different set for myself in ivory with a smaller width that I bought at "a big bath store" (and having just remembered that :) I am going to see if they still carry it.)

I have purchased these hangers 5 times. The first time I ordered a box of camel — the color was a beautiful neutral tan. I reordered more in camel — the color was a hideously ugly mustard yellow. I then switched to ivory and ordered two boxes — the color was a yellowish beige. I just ordered another box in ivory — the color is a light off white (almost white). I like the first camel color I got and, while I like this last ivory color better than the first 100 hangers I have in ivory, keeping it would mean I have three different colors of hangers in my closet (I literally threw away the ugly mustard version of camel). The company advertises “no more surprises”, yet the color you receive is always a surprise.

If I could I would replace all my plastic hangers with these. They are super thin yet sturdy. And the flocking is the best thing ever.Dresses that never stayed on the plastic hangers stay put on these. Plus the thin metal hook is great at adding hanging capacity to garment bags without flexible hanger loops. I can put in two of these hangers for every one of my thinnest plastic ones.When I next move I’m going to just go ahead buy a closet full of these. The flocking has spoiled me for others.

Loved these hangers and they were as described.

Pretty colour. They were sold out of the blush ones I wanted but these are nice. The first one was a tad dirty as they ship in their original packaging and there is an open window on the box to view the hooks. Not the best but I was happy they didn’t over package to save the possibility of a little dirt on the first hanger. Will buy more in the junior size for my kids closets.

Love these! They totally stop my cloths from slipping off the hanger. I was worried about the camel color, but honestly it looks fine. These are a great deal at 10 for 4.46.They seem super durable. I was worried because I've seen other velvet hangers that are pretty flimsy and these do come is a more durable option, but these ones seem great.

These hangers do what they are supposed to - they are thin, so they take up less space, and the velvet coating keeps almost all fabrics from slipping off. The only caution is not to pull too hard when taking clothes out of the closet, as the metal hook easily breaks free or the hanger will snap. However by switching to the suit/pants/skirts hangers, they seem to be a lot more sturdy & break less than the lighter versions.
