When the Velcro wouldn’t adhere, I bought carpet tape (it’s double sided), cut a piece to length, peeled off one side and stuck it to the Velcro, rubbed it hard to make sure they were bonded, peeled off side two, centered my cords, and stuck it to the carpet. It worked great!

Not sure what I really wanted out of this, but 1. the velcro is weak at best, and it realistically, can only cover 1 cable. Any more and the velcro comes undone. Anyone that walks over it can feel the cord under it or trips on the piece of barely stuck in place piece of carpet. It also attracts dirt like crazy. Didn't take more than a few weeks for it to change color. And this being a cord cover, you don't wanna have to launder the thing. It should be a permanent thing wherever you stick it. In the end, it was tossed in the trash.

Whoever designed this, doesn't own a carpet floor. I'm sure the idea looked great on paper, but this is light, beige fabric. You are going to have to wash this every week. Not to mention it absolutely doesn't hold to carpet. Maybe if the fibers of your carpet are office kind. But not the home kind. Maybe I should've read the description. Maybe is meant for a place with very low to zero traffic. But is not for home, and is not for normal traffic.

This really helped solve the problem of the cord across the floor. If I were to buy it again I would choose a dark color though. The light color just shows tracks more. I hoped the matching of the carpet would be good and it was nice but I think having no tracks on it would be better. lol. Overall great product.

Cord Protector was well made. It attached to my carpet so well. When I tested it to see how it looked and worked, I had to rip it off my burber carpet. It fuzzed the carpet up a bit.
