I bought these as we traveled a lot this summer. I like to take water and soda with us, instead of buying them on the road. In the past, we'd put ice in a plastic container, then put them in an insulated bag. That got messy at times. These are great! No leaks. Kept everything cold after 6 hours of travel. Stayed cold in the hotel mini fridge. Also used them for a 1 1/2 car ride to my sister's house for Thanksgiving. Everything from the fridge stayed cold. Really a great investment for use with insulated bags. They are large, but thin. Works perfectly!

They are thin and light. Keep cold for a long time and don’t take too much space. I use them to transport cold stuff between my house and lake house. I use an insulated bag with these inside and are able to keep items like a fridge for hours inside the car.

The thing I like the very best about these ice packs is that they lay FLAT in my cooler, and they are almost the identical dimensions as the cooler, so the entire bottom of the cooler stays cold. I often transport pots of soup or chili, and the ice bag I was using before was lumpy and uneven when frozen, thus causing the pot or bowl to shift and slip. No more! Now the pot sits on a level surface, and since the ice pack is the same side as the cooler, there is no more sliding off the edge and sloshing the ingredients from the pot. Wish I'd known about these sooner... they are ideal!!

These are great for larger coolers. I got them for my rolling cooler and didn't want the ice pack to take up a lot of room in my cooler. These are perfect for that.

I purchased these ice packs to go along with a igloo backpack cooler that I purchased my son for Christmas. After receiving them, I was pleasantly surprised to find a postcard to receive 2 free ice packs plus free shipping. What a great value. I’ll now have 4 ice packs for the price of 2.One of the reasons that persuaded me to buy these ice packs was that they freeze in 20 minutes. I put 1 of them in my kitchen freezer set at 0 degrees and checked on it every 20 minutes. It took 60 minutes to freeze. 60 minutes to freeze is still impressive to me considering my other ice packs take overnight to freeze. Keep in mind, that my kitchen freezer was also full which takes longer to freeze items vs when empty.My main concern is that they stay frozen a long time. I will be testing them to find out and will post the results here.

3 things I love about this ice pack (for my soft sided insulated cooler): the nice slim size, it's easy to fit in my side by side freezer and the ease of use it's size (as opposed to a several little ice packs). I like to 2 grocery stores a little distance from my home and use the ice packs to keep my cold item groceries well chilled in a soft sided insulated cooler while I make the 2nd grocery stop.

The walls of the ice pack are about 1/2". My cooler had 1/2" grooves. But these ice packs would not slide in. I could have tried to force it, but that is a bad idea if you ever want to get them out to refreeze. This product would be more universal if the thickness was closer to 3/8". I returned the package.

Taking my work lunch everyday for my 12 hour days, these ice packs work excellent. I eat 5000 calories a day and stuff not only breakfast but lunch into my suitcase cooler. These are thin enough to not reduce my food capacity but they are exactly what my food needs to keep my items cold throughout the day. Looking to take these on my next camping trip this weekend. Would def. buy these again.
