Lifesaver!
Our owlet dream sock is a must have!! It works so good and has put us at ease every night since having our son. It is expensive but so worth the money! It tracks their sleep in three different phases. Active or awake, light sleep, or deep sleep. It tracks their oxygen saturation along with their heart rate. We have had a couple times that his oxygen has gone down and it has alarmed. I am a very deep sleeper and the alarm is loud enough to wake me up. They send you two different sized socks and they are slightly stretchy and fit so good! We have used ours everyday for the last year and it still works like a champ. Super durable and soft fabric.

LOVE-NEED
Update: I purchased this in July of 2024 for my October 2024 baby. It has been used nightly since November 2024. It is now January 2026 and I had my first issue with the sock. It disconnected from Bluetooth and would not reconnect no matter the troubleshooting steps I took. I had to contact Owlet support and the first person I spoke to was very unhelpful and told me I just needed to buy a new sensor (for an additional $130+) and that really ticked me off. I contacted support again and the second person I spoke to was extremely helpful, had me send pictures, tried to actually assist me and then when it failed, escalated the situation to a higher up who ended up approving a replacement sensor for free. I have yet to receive it as this took place on Friday and it is now Sunday so we will see soon if I do receive it and how connection goes, but so far I am still happy with the product and the customer service I received the 2nd time around and I will still recommend this to new moms who need the peace of mind like I did/do as I never had issues with false readings, and it has always been accurate for me. For almost 15mos of continuous use without any major issues till now, I am pleased. Absolutely love this product. It has SAVED my sanity. Baby girl has worn it every night for almost 8mos. Never had a false reading, is accurate for light and deep sleep as well as her pulse. Unsure about accuracy of oxygen as there isn’t a secondary way to measure that easily, but I’m assuming it’s just as accurate as the pulse is. I wouldn’t sleep without it being on her. Knowing my baby girl is safe, and if she wasn’t I’d get a notification and alarm sound is so reassuring and I’m not up all night watching her breathe. Would totally recommend to any mama.

It works, but only for a year
tl;dr The device provides peace of mind when it works, but seems to be built to only last a year as we've had two of them that stopped working between 11-12 months which is also the limit on their warranty. We just can't afford to buy a $300 device for every kid so we won't be buying another one. PROS: - Helpful data that gives peace of mind that your baby is okay - Vitals can give you early signs that your baby is getting sick or recovering from sickness CONS: - Only last 11-12 months (we've had this happen with two socks) - Strict warranty, if you contact them about an issue after 12 months of purchasing they will not help you - App has some bugs and navigating the app can be confusing We purchased the original Smart Sock from Owlet for our first child. The sock and the app worked great, providing helpful vitals data that gave us peace of mind. When the company got into hot water with the FDA over their original Smart Sock, our sock which had worked perfectly for almost a year suddenly stopped working. It would no longer connect to the Owlet Care app. When we contacted support they said that our sock was outside the 12 month warranty (Though it stopped working before that. Buyer beware, if you have any issues at all with this sock before 12 months, contact the company immediately or they will not work with you). We hoped that this was a fluke with their original device and the trouble they got into with the FDA over portraying it as a medical device. So with our second child we decided to try it again and bought their new Dream Sock. The device itself worked just as well as the first one. They also had a new app that was more confusing and less helpful, but overall the system still provided peace of mind. When our second child was around 11 months the system started having trouble. It would constantly give us Yellow warnings but when we would check on our baby everything was fine. We tried adjusting the sock placement, resetting it with the base station, cleaning it, everything. Eventually the sock stopped sending information to the base station at all. The app would show that it was connected to the sock, but no vital information would come through. When we finally decided it was time to contact Owlet about this, we were just over the 12 month warranty window and they refused to fix or replace the device. Overall, while we love the functionality and peace of mind it gives us, it's too expensive of a device to only last a year. If you're planning to have multiple kids, expect that you'll have to buy a new one for each child. I see other reviews mention a similar experience so I know we're not alone.

Worth the investment
Works great! Shows you just the heartbeat rate and oxygen %. It cost 99.99$ a year so if you want to spend that much on it go ahead. The base has to connect to your Wi-Fi so if you travel with it, make sure you at least have a hotspot on or home wifi and a power source to it like a power bank you can hook it up to and still be close to it. Wi-Fi hotspot will also work with it. Just make sure you set it up properly. I have not tried it without Wi-Fi but you can go ahead and see if it works without Wi-Fi. The comforter on it seems really comfortable. The sink speed takes like 30 to 60 seconds for it to completely read it correctly and the ease of set up as easy as long as you follow instructions and you can also call customer service and watch YouTube tutorials on how to set it up if you want visual Instructions. And the design of the sock is soft and flexible quality on the baby‘s foot just make sure you put it on a little snug so we can read properly.

Peace of mind starts on Day 1!
My baby was actually just born today, so while we haven't had the chance to officially put the sock to the test during a full night at home yet, I can already tell this was the right move. As a new parent, the "first night" nerves are no joke, and just having this ready to go in the nursery is giving me so much peace of mind. The fact that it’s FDA-cleared to track live heart rate and oxygen levels is the main reason we went with the Dream Sock. It feels more like a reliable piece of health tech than just a standard baby monitor. The setup was quick and the app is super intuitive, which is exactly what you need when you're functioning on zero sleep. Just knowing that it’s there to alert us if anything falls out of the normal range makes the transition home from the hospital feel a lot less intimidating. If you're an anxious parent (or just a first-timer like me), the mental relief this provides before you even use it is worth every penny.

I finally am sleeping.
First things first, I read so many reviews. I mean SO MANY. Reviews on Facebook, Reddit, Amazon. I compared reviews for owlet and the other competitors for DAYS. Trying to decide if I should buy the owlet sock while its on sale. So many people reported issues with connectivity, issues with false alarms, and some people complain that the company feeds on anxious parents wallets. With all of that being said, I have had zero connection issues so far. I havent had any false alarms only notifications that the sock isnt reading correctly, but its because I had the sock on the wrong foot. And most importantly I dont think this item is for feeding on parents anxiety. The sock works exactly how its intended. Watching the O2, heart rate, and sleep schedule. The peace of mind ive gotten in just the short time since ive got the sock is AMAZING. For 3 weeks, I found myself anxiously watching my son breathe questioning if its normal, retractions, or just gas. I even took him to the ER thinking he was breathing wrong. The doctor there recommended getting a sock monitor to ease my mind. So yeah I 100% recommend this to anyone whos finding themselves not sleeping, just watching.

Works great and gives peace of mind
The owlet has been a great peace of mind for my husband and I. The battery life is great and it works well through overnight sleep. The sock doesn’t seem to bother our little guy at all. Our son is 3 months now and we have had several times where the Wi-Fi is dropped for some reason and we have to reconnect it. Not a huge deal, but a little annoying right before bed. We forget to turn off the sensor and get connection issue alarms relatively frequently when we’re getting our guy ready for bed, take him to change a diaper or run down stairs to make a bottle. The issue we have with the alarm is not the alarm it’s the fact that the app sometimes takes forever to open to turn off the alarm or you have to completely close it and then reopen it to get it to load. Overall it lets me sleep better knowing there’s something monitoring our baby while he’s sleeping and I would get the owlet again just for that. With some tweaks to the app it would be 5 stars.

Just get it. I know it’s expensive. Peace of mind is worth more.
Gave in and bought this. As a first time Mom and somebody that works in the medical field, I am freaked out about SIDS. This put my mind at ease. A lot of people were complaining about the technical issues about it. I have not had any issues except one time where my husband put on the sock wrong. Also, it won’t read if you’re like rocking your baby too fast or bouncing them up and down it’ll alert, saying it can’t get a good read. But I take it with me everywhere I go hotels, friends houses everything. It’ll work without the Wi-Fi, you just won’t get live updates, but it’ll still alert with the noise and the color change on the base if there’s something wrong if you don’t have the Wi-Fi.

Mal amazon y vendedor
