FINALLY have settled on a decent amp
I've been searching for an amp that is able to fit my needs for over a year now and I'm certain this is the best value for the features and quality I've been looking for. So far I've used a myriad of cheaper class D amps that never satisfied me (2 of which outright died) and have been researching quality A/B amps for the past couple months. My budget at the start of my search was $200 but the more I searched the more it came to my attention that you really get a lot more for your money up to around the $300 - $400 mark and I was sick of wasting $50 - $150 on cheap junk. So, I buckled down and searched up good A/B amps and always heard good things about Emotiva and the price / performance of their products. I watched and read countless reviews on almost their entire range of products and instantly fell in love with the design and features of the TA-100. 50 clean watts of power, extremely low THD, a quality built in DAC and TWO subwoofer outputs? Remote control and optional bluetooth module? I haven't seen anything close to matching these features in this price range besides cheap AV receivers that are bloated messes with BS power ratings. This thing sounds great (doesn't color the signal), is built like a tank, and is very pleasing to look at on my desk. Easily powers my emotiva B1 bookshelfs to painful levels without breaking a sweat and is 100% silent even after hours of listening at moderate volumes. Overall, 100% worth every penny and then some and I'd happily recommend this to anybody looking for true audiophile quality amplification at a reasonable price.

No Low Pass Filter
This integrated amplifier (it's really a reciever) sounds great and provides more than enough power to drive my KEF Q100's. I replaced my NAD D3020 v2 with the TA-100.However nice this amp is, it lacks a proper low pass filter which sends the low-end to a subwoofer and the rest to the speakers. I found this to be a poor design choice by Emotiva especially since they offer a subwoofer out option.

Great upgrade
I received this amp couple days ago. And I must say I enjoy listening to music on it. Before I was using Dayton Audio DTA 120 little desk amp. In combination with schiit loki and elac b6.2. Its sounded great but I keep craving more out of the music and decided to get better quality amp. Emotiva ta-100 is very functional because it has a lot of flexibility with conectivity. I enjoy listening to music at a high volume level because it brings out the details in music. With emotiva I still hear details in songs at lower volumes. What I realy enjoy is that you can adjust treble and bass in the amp and it is very clean sounding. I just wish you could adjust mids as well. I primarily use bluetooth adapter that is connected via toslink cable to listen to music and I am very happy with the result. Only down side is that the Analog input sounds better than build in DAC. Analog inputs have more precise center image and sound more dynamic.Updated:I ordered external DAC and emotiva A-300 to give more power and Im using TA-100 as pre-amp. I believe because of external dack the music has little more meat on the bones. I am pleased of both emotiva amps my full set up includes:1.Fire stick 4k connected to my tv2.Schiit Modi 3 DAC connected to my tv via optical cable3. Emotiva TA-100 as a pre-amplifier4. Emotiva A-300 as power amplifier5. Wharfedale Reva 2 bookshelf speakersI am very pleased of the setup and thanks to fire stick i can listen to music from different applications under one platform and no need for expensive media streamers.

Bad USB input ???
Had to send back... the USB input had this constant "ticking" sound coming through. The sound was very obvious and annoying and would come and go at different times. Seemed like it would have been a nice piece of gear, but I decided to buy a separate tube DAC and power amplifier instead of trying to exchange it. What I did get to hear sounded pretty good and I really wanted it to work and keep it... for the money it was going to fit the bill for my PC setup. This was the first piece of Emotiva gear that I had purchased.Windows 7 Pro, Audioquest Forest USB cable, Sonus Faber Wall speakers (older version), older spare Audioquest speaker cable, Klipsch RW-12d subwoofer, Audioquest NRG-1 power cord on the Emotiva, Audioquest Black Lab subwoofer cable to the Klipsch subwoofer, API Power Wedge 112 with Shunyata 20A Diamondback power cord

Don't buy it for the tuner
Don't buy this for the receiver. It's simply too hard to use.I've owned hundreds of audio pieces, and perhaps 20 am/fm receivers in my time. None of them were hard to use. This setup consists of a remote and a small display. The FM sections are in submenus that you can't see. The buttonsand display change function depending on what you're doing. This wouldn't be impossible to use for a 15-year-old tech savant who only owned this one piece of equipment and practiced a bit with it.Everyone else will find it mediocre at best, unusable at worst. I choose not to use it. Life is too short. It's almost deceptive to call this a tuner when that function is unpleasant to use.Again, not about me, but about this piece of design as opposed to every other one I've ever encountered: worse.
